Moët & Chandon wurde 1743 in Épernay gegründet und ist eines der bekanntesten und größten Champagnerhäuser der Welt. Es steht für luxuriöse, elegante Champagner mit einem frischen, fruchtigen Stil. Zum Unternehmen gehört auch die Prestige-Cuvée Dom Pérignon, ein Symbol für höchste Qualität und Tradition.

Region

Die Champagne ist das nördlichste Anbaugebiet Frankreichs. Hier ist der Weinbau gerade noch möglich. Nur die windgeschützten Hanglagen ergeben gute Champagnergrundweine, oft entlang der Flüsse (Marne, Aisne, Seine, Aube) gelegen, deren mildernder Einfluss willkommen ist. Die Rebe wächst auf stark kreidehaltigem Boden, der für ihren regelmässigen Wasserhaushalt sorgt.

Ice Impérial ist der erste Champagner, der speziell für den Genuss auf Eis kreiert wurde, man erkennt sofort das leuchtende pink mit goldenen Highlights.
