NYLON (PA) ist ein Polyamide und zeichnet sich durch seine hohe Festigkeit und Zähigkeit aus. Aufgrund seiner positiven Eigenschaften wird es häufig zur Fertigung mechanischer Bauteile verwendet.  

Beispiele von Gegenständen aus dem Alltag, welche aus NYLON (PA) gefertigt sind:
  • Kabelbinder
  • Fahrrad Schutzbleche 
  • Schiffsseile
  • Zahnräder
  • Werkzeuggriffe
  • Strumpfhosen
    Die Eigenschaften von NYLON (PA)   

    • hohe Elastizität
    • hohe Zähigkeit sowie Festigkeit
    • hohe Abriebfestigkeit
    • hohe Layerhaftung
    • hohe Wärmeformbeständigkeit bis 140°C
    • achte beim Drucken mit NYLON auf eine gute Belüftung, da die entstehenden Dämpf beim Drucken gesundheitsschädlich sind
    • ein all Metal Heatbreak, besser noch ein hier im Shop erhältliches TITAN Heatbreak, wird empfohlen
     Wie wird NYLON am besten gedruckt?
     
    • Ein geschlossener Bauraum (Gehäuse) wird empfohlen, da NYLON einen erhöhten Wärmeverzug aufweist.
    • Die Bauteilkühlung sollte wenn möglich deaktiviert, maximal jedoch auf 30% für kleine, filigrane Bauteile eingestellt werden (Druckerabhängig)
    • Druckbetthaftung: Die besten Ergebnisse erziehst Du mit der PRINPLATE PRO / EXTREME mit folgenden Einstellungen:
    1. Druckbett gelevelt mit einer 0,05mm Einstellfolie
    2. Höhe erster Layer = 0,10mm
    3. Linienbreite erster Layer = 120%
    4. Druckgeschwindigkeit erster Layer = 15mm/s
    5. Druckbetttemperatur = 90°C

    Die Druckbetthaftung sowie der erste Layer sind für einen erfolgreichen Druck mit NYLON (PA) essenziell. Drucke den ersten Layer lieber etwas zu dicht am Druckbett (leicht "gequetscht") um das NYLON in die Poren der PRINPLATE zu drücken.
