Tasmanischer Pfeffer ist nicht nur etwas für Australische Spezialitäten wie Emu Hamburger und Kangaroo- Steaks. Fleischstücke mit Pfeffer und Öl marinieren und kurz braten oder grillen. Sehr zu empfehlen für: eintopfartige Gerichte, zu Hülsenfrüchten, Kürbis, in Saucen und Butter oder zu Pasta, Rind und Wildfleisch. Pepperberries sind ein guter Gegenpart zu Mais. Sahnesaucen geben sie eine helle Burgunderfarbe.
