Beschreibung: Der Trichocereus pachanoi, auch bekannt als San Pedro Kaktus, ist eine beeindruckende, schnell wachsende Kaktusart, die sich ideal für Sammler und Liebhaber exotischer Pflanzen eignet. Dieser Kaktus eignet sich insbesondere Veredlungsunterlage

 

Aussehen:
 Der San Pedro Kaktus zeichnet sich durch seine aufrechte, säulenartige Form und seine glatte, hellgrüne Oberfläche aus. Er kann in der Natur bis zu 6 Meter hoch werden und besitzt mehrere Rippen mit kleinen, weißen Areolen, aus denen gelegentlich kurze Dornen wachsen.

 

Standort:

Dieser Kaktus bevorzugt einen sonnigen Standort, kann aber auch Halbschatten vertragen. Ideal ist ein Platz an einem Süd- oder Westfenster, wo er viel Licht erhält.

Pflege:
 Der Trichocereus pachanoi ist pflegeleicht. Gießen Sie ihn regelmäßig während der Wachstumsperiode, aber lassen Sie die Erde zwischen den Wassergaben gut austrocknen. Im Winter nur sparsam gießen.

 

Substrat:
 Verwenden Sie gut durchlässige Kakteenerde oder eine Mischung aus Blumenerde, Sand und Kies, um eine optimale Drainage zu gewährleisten. Wir empfehlen 60-70% Qualitätsblumenerde mit einem restlichen Anteil an anorganischen Bestandteilen wie Bims, Zeolith, Lavamulch, Kies oder Sand.

 

Winterhärte:
 Der Trichocereus pachanoi ist nicht winterhart und sollte bei Temperaturen über 5°C gehalten werden. Im Winter bevorzugt er einen kühlen, aber hellen Standort. Temperaturen am Gerfrierpunkt sind zu vermeiden.

Topfdurchmesser: unbewurzelter Steckling, Durchmesser von 5-7 cm
