Die Stecklinge sind ca 30 cm lang (in der Regel 28- 35cm) und besitzen einen Durchmesser von 6-9cm (meist um 8cm).

Es kann vorkommen das auch entsprechende B-Ware der 40-50cm pachanoi mit im Paket enthalten sind.

Die Stecklinge sind unbewurzelt und weisen optische Mängel auf, vorwiegend vergeilter Wuchs, dieser entwickelt sich mit zunehmende Wachstum zurück. Das dritte Bild dient als Beispiel wie sich die Spitze nach dem bewurzeln entwickelt.

Der vergeilte Wuchs entstand durch zu lange Lagerzeit, bedeutet aber auch das diese Stecklinge sehr schnell anwurzeln. Beim Bewurzeln ist ein schattiger Platz sehr wichtig, da die Spitzen sonst leicht verbrennen können.

Zum bewurzeln können die Stecklinge in mineralisches Substrat wie z.B. Vogelsand, Perlite, Bims o.Ä. gesteckt werden. Je nach Umgebung kommen die ersten Wurzeln nach einigen Wochen. Wenn die Wurzeln ausgeprägt sind, kann der Kaktus in Kakteenerde gepflanzt werden.

Trichocereus Pachanoi wächst am besten in einem durchlässigen, mineralreichen Boden. Ein gutes Substrat für diesen Kaktus kann beispielsweise aus einer Mischung aus mineralischen Substrat wie Lava, Bims, Sand und Kies bestehen, um eine gute Drainage und Belüftung zu gewährleisten. Ein pH-Wert von etwa 6 bis 7 ist ideal. Als organischen Zuschlagstoff eignet sich herkömmliche Blumenerde, sollte aber im besten Fall einen Gewichtsanteil von 60% nicht überschreiten.

Trichocereus pachanoi ist eine Art von Kaktus, der auch als San Pedro-Kaktus bezeichnet wird. Er stammt ursprünglich aus den Anden von Peru und Ecuador, wird jedoch heute auf der ganzen Welt angebaut.

Der Kaktus hat eine säulenartige Form und kann bis zu 6m hoch werden.

This is the second Michael Kors bag in my collection, and I’m pleased with both of them. These are quality items that are timeless and complement pretty much everything that i own.
