World Time Clock ist ihr bisher umfangreichstes Fotoprojekt, an dem sie acht Jahre lang arbeitete. Bettina Pousttchi reiste dafür in mehreren Etappen um die Welt und fotografierte an ausgewählten Orten in 24 unterschiedlichen Zeitzonen jeweils eine öffentliche Uhr um fünf Minuten vor zwei. Zu den bereisten Städten gehören Kapstadt, Dubai, Tashkent, New York, Sydney und Mexico City. Dieses weltumspannende Werk zur politischen und sozialen Organisation von Zeit und Raum erhielt seine Ausstellungspremiere im Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden des Smithsonian Institutes in Washington DC. Während zehn Monaten wurde auf einer ganzen Etage des Museums die komplette 24 teilige großformatige Fotoserie in einer 360 Grad Installation erlebbar.
