Vetus Aluminium-Rumpf-Anode 

Korrosionschutz durch Anoden ist ein „Muß” für alle Metallteile unter Wasser. Sowohl Holz-, als auch Kunstoff- und Aluminiumboote benötigen somit Anoden. VETUS Zinkanoden entsprechen dem höchsten U.S.mil.-A-18001K Standard. Anoden die diesem Standard nicht entsprechen, bieten in der Regel keinen ausreichenden Schutz.

V-Quipment Aluminium Anoden bestehen aus einer Aluminium-Indium-Zink Legierung Mil-A-24779 (SH). Alle V-Quipment Anoden sind stromlinienförmig und können entweder an den Rumpf geschweißt oder gebolzt werden. Bolzen hierfür können extra bestellt werden.

Für Schiffe, die überwiegend im Binnen- bzw. Frischwasser unterwegs sind, empfehlen wir Aluminiumanoden. Aluminium hat
eine größere Potenzialdifferenz zu anderen Metallen als Zink. Dies ist sehr wichtig, da Süßwasser über einen höheren elektrischen Widerstand als Salzwasser verfügt. Für das Segeln im Salzwasser oder Brackwasser empfehlen wir die Verwendung von Zinkanoden. Aluminiumanoden funktionieren auch gut in Salzwasser, werden jedoch viel schneller verbraucht.
Eine Verwendung von Magnesiumanoden können wir nicht empfehlen, da der Potentialunterschied zu anderen Metallen zu groß ist, was zu Schäden am Rumpf führen kann, insbesondere beim Fahren in Brack- oder Salzwasser.

The cutest little toothbrushes for the kitkats!
Never before recently had I contemplated brushing my cats' teeth. But at their most recent visit with the veterinarian, my boy kitty and one of his sisters had tartar on their teeth and I was admonished for not cleaning their teeth regularly at home. Yikes! The veterinarian gave me her recommendations. I ordered these toothbrushes to go with a toothpaste I was able to order through our compounding pharmacy. And I thought it was going to be a nightmare trying to brush their teeth. But our boy kitty actually likes it - sort of! I think he really likes the extra attention and it probably feels kind of good to get the gunk off his teeth. His sister is another story. She doesn't hate it, but I do need to give her treats before and after. These little toothbrushes are just perfect. I love the little cases included. They work perfectly and are just the right size. That makes them easy to use. And it doesn't hurt that they are absolutely adorable little toothbrushes!

These toothbrushes are perfect for maintaining my cat's oral hygiene! The micro head and mini size make it incredibly easy to reach and clean my cat's back teeth.
