Bricanyl, also known as Terbutaline, is a reliever inhaler used to manage asthma symptoms and other lung conditions. It can also be helpful for those with COPD, bronchitis, and emphysema.

How does Bricanyl treat asthma?

What dose of Bricanyl should I take?
Typically, you would take one 0.5mg dose when you feel breathless, which means one puff of the inhaler, up to four times a day. However, the dose might change based on your health needs. We can then adjust your dose or look into other treatment options with you.
Can I get Bricanyl Turbohaler over the counter?
No, you can't buy Bricanyl over the counter. It's only available with a prescription. You'll need to have a chat with a clinician first, so they can determine if it's appropriate and safe for you to use.
Bricanyl may cause side effects such as headaches, feeling shaky, and muscle cramps. A clinician will consider these factors before prescribing Bricanyl to you.
Can I get Bricanyl as a tablet or liquid?
