MAKER STORY:
Founded by a South African immigrant, who moved to Vancouver with two small children and no network of support, Indaba Trading is a women-owned, women-run company that puts the focus on meaningful connections. The company name, Indaba, is the Zulu word for "a gathering of people." Founder Irene and her daughter source products from small businesses and artisans all over the world. The line includes linens, serveware, glassware, home accessories, baby gifts and more. Many of the items are handmade and small batch, and sourced from natural materials.
