Released on August 6, 2013, Golden Record is the third studio album by The Dangerous Summer and stands as the most aggressive and urgent entry in their pre-hiatus discography. Following the atmospheric experimentation of War Paint, this album leans into a driving, heavy alternative rock sound. Largely self-produced with assistance from Paul Leavitt, the record features a revised lineup-including guitarist Matt Kennedy and drummer Ben Cato-that contributed to a thicker, "wall-of-sound" aesthetic, moving further away from their pop-punk roots into "anthem emo" territory. The album is defined by it's raw intensity, mirroring the severe internal turmoil the band was facing during recording. Vocalist AJ Perdomo pushes his voice to the breaking point, delivering lyrics that toggle between biting self-loathing and nostalgic longing. The title itself references the Voyager Golden Records sent into space, symbolizing the band's desire to leave behind a permanent legacy. Tracks like the explosive opener "Catholic Girls" and the dark, driving "Knives" showcase this energy, blending soaring, arena-ready choruses with gritty, emotional desperation.Historically, Golden Record is viewed as the closing chapter of the band's "original era." Shortly after it's release, tensions between members culminated in a messy breakup and a four-year hiatus, making this album the band's "final goodbye" until their 2018 reunion. Because of this context, the record is often revered by fans as a raw, unfiltered document of a band burning out in real-time, pouring every last ounce of energy into the music before falling apart.

Color: Coal Black
My office is in my loft. But there are things along the wall I don’t want to look at. These work great. Hides what I don’t want to see & is a classy look in the room. Sturdy, easy to assemble, well made.

Beautiful room dividers! I'm glad I bought several.
Color: Light Beige, Size: 6-Panel
This room divider is perfect for my use. I bought one with 6 panels and another with 4 panels, mostly to hide areas of my living space when guests come over. The screens are attractive, a pleasing color, just the right height and width, and a very pretty design. They require no assembly and are easy to put in place. When not in use, they store in a compact fashion. The only drawback is the odor from the manufacturing process. I left the screens on an enclosed porch with the windows open for about two weeks before I could tolerate the odor inside the house. After that, there was no problem.

Just the features I needed
Color: Light Beige, Size: 6-Panel
Product was exactly as described and just what I needed to set up a guest room that has a double tinted glass door.facing the font and a road 50 yards away. The glass tint allows people to see inside after dark and interior lights are on, so I needed a very lightweight screen to put up across it for privacy at night and did not want curtains over my showpiece doors. The screen folds neatly and stands up beside an armoire out of sight when not needed, but steps away at night to put up until morning. Lightweight but sturdy—just what I was looking for. Looks high end.
