Description

Today, it is hard to believe that Bedřich Smetana kept receiving rejections when he tried to get his enormously popular "Moldau" printed.

What is also amazing is that the first text-critical edition prepared by the Czech Smetana expert Milan Pospisil in 1999, which had entailed an exhaustive evaluation of the sources and been given a full text-critical editorial treatment as a Eulenburg study score, had no resonance of any kind among performers since no performance material had been published. After 15 years, Pospisils edition is finally being completed in a manner suitable for practice: with a conducting score and orchestral parts which will ensure that all future performances are based on a musical text that is as reliable as can be.

"The work depicts the course of the river Vltava, beginning with its first two sources, the cold and warm Vltava, and the confluence of the two streams that join to form a single river; then the course of the Vltava through forests and meadows, and through open countryside where a peasant wedding is being celebrated; water-sprites dance by the light of the moon; on the nearby cliffs castles, mansions and ruins rise proudly into the air; the Vltava eddies in the St John's Rapids, then flows in a broad stream as it continues its course towards Prague, where the Vyšehrad appears, before the river finally disappears into the distance as it flows majestically into the Elbe."_ _

Vltava("The Moldau"), Smetana's best-known and most frequently performed orchestral work, was written between 19 November and 8 December 1874, at a time when Smetana was already completely deaf. The world premiere took place in Prague on 4 April 1875, but the score was not published until 1880.

Better than woxer imo
Color: Multicolor B (5-pack), Size: Large
I've been buying Woxers, but theyre super expensive for what youre getting. These are similar in feel and style so i switched over. Another nice thing is i dont have to deal with wedgies like i do with the woxers. Theyre not perfect for wearing when its hot, youre still gunna sweat and these dont wick away sweat super well. But i havent seen many brands that do, and these are not the worst. Im 5'7" and 145lbs and these are comfy and tight enough but not snug. They still leave a bit of indentation on the love handles. You CAN tell that youre wearing them under pant if they are tight.

A Traditional Tee that's Fun to Wear
Size: Large, Color: Navy, Size: Large, Color: Navy
Here is a classic fitting tee-shirt that combines a soft feel along with a rugged outdoor look. A top priority for me is comfort and this graphic tee is 100 percent cotton that moisture-wicks sweat away and is non-itchy! Made by Pioneer Camp, the navy blue top is a good fit in medium that is not too tight nor baggy. Staying cool is important and the micro-ventilation fabric is wonderful whether I'm at the gym doing aerobics or running errands. There is a Mont Blanc graphic logo that adorns the upper right corner of this tee, however, it's small and unobtrusive. So, whether you are into hiking, traveling, yoga or just lounging, here's a short sleeve tee that delivers.

Soft and breathable
Size: Large, Color: Navy, Size: Large, Color: Navy
Nice and comfy tee. I love the minimalist design and how fresh it feels. I ordered a size Large and I’m 5’1, 151lbs, jeans size usually 8/29. It fits on the fitted side but with extra room for comfort. This a nice t shirt for daily wear or outdoors. I don’t hike a lot so I’m not sure what people look for in hiking tops. I love the color scheme and quality; and it’s 100% cotton! I do feel like it’s slightly overpriced but if you’re looking for a good quality tee or something to gift I do think it’s worth it.

A great shirt for me to wear to work
Size: Medium, Color: Navy, Size: Medium, Color: Navy
I ordered this shirt to wear to work because I’m pretty active at my job and need to move around comfortable. I’m 5’0 and around 115lbs, but people with the same measurements can have different body types - however I will say that the shirt fit me very well, had a loose fit, but not too loose, just comfortable and easy to move around while wearing. I wouldn’t say it did anything different in warm temperatures than any other shirt I own, but at least it don’t make me hotter. The fabric feels nice and good quality. After a handful of washes, the color still looks great so I have hopes that it won’t fade and look worn right away. It honestly looks exactly like the pictures. The majority of clothing items I’ve ordered off Amazon had left me very disappointed, so this was a very pleasant surprise!

Soft, comfortable, more of a casual tee than performance
Size: Medium, Color: Navy
This is a really comfortable shirt. The fabric is soft right away and it fits well without feeling tight or awkward. It drapes nicely and just feels easy to wear. I wouldn’t really call it a true moisture-wicking workout shirt though. It feels more like a soft cotton tee than anything performance-focused. I haven’t worn it for anything super active, but based on the material it doesn’t seem like that’s really what it’s best for. That said, for casual wear, travel, or light activity it’s great. Comfortable, breathable enough, and the graphic is a nice touch without being over the top. Overall, I like it. Just go in expecting a comfy everyday shirt, not a high-performance athletic one.
