Kecepatan setelan lensa yang berfungsi dalam kondisi cahaya redup dan juga meningkatkan kontrol atas kedalaman bidang untuk mengisolasi materi subjek dan menggunakan teknik fokus selektif.

Desain fokus manual lensa memungkinkan bekerja dengan subjek sedekat 1,9' dan cincin apertur manual juga telah diklik untuk penyesuaian senyap yang sesuai dengan aplikasi video. Selain itu, lensa ini dilengkapi diafragma 13 bilah yang berkontribusi pada kualitas bokeh yang menyenangkan.

- Panjang normal prime dirancang untuk kamera mirrorless full-frame L-mount, namun juga cocok untuk digunakan dengan model APS-C yang menyediakan panjang fokus setara 75mm.
