A clinical-grade bright light therapy lamp that delivers 10,000 LUX at a comfortable 12–14" distance — the level experts recommend for effective SAD treatment, circadian rhythm regulation, and energy support. The 13.5 x 10" screen is larger than most therapy lamps, maximizing light exposure without requiring you to sit uncomfortably close. Projects light from above, as clinical guidelines recommend. 100% UV filtered. Glare-free and flicker-free. Height and angle adjustable for desk, table, or nightstand use. How to Use

Use the lamp in therapy mode for 20–30 minutes each morning. Position the lamp so the screen is at approximately eye level or slightly above, tilted at about 15 degrees so light projects from above — mimicking natural outdoor sunlight. Sit approximately 12–14" from the screen. You do not need to stare directly into the lamp; normal reading, eating, or working during the session is appropriate. Use therapy mode for your daily session and switch to task mode for ambient desk use throughout the rest of the day. The switch has three positions: therapy, off (middle), and task.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between therapy mode and task mode?

Therapy mode emits 10,000 LUX — the clinically recommended intensity to trigger the biological effects of bright light therapy, including serotonin production, circadian rhythm regulation, and energy support. Task mode emits approximately 5,000 LUX for use as a standard desk or ambient lamp. Use therapy mode for your daily 20–30 minute session each morning, and task mode for the rest of the day if you want to keep the lamp on.

How far should I sit from the lamp?

12–14 inches is the recommended distance for the Day-Light Sky. At that distance, the lamp delivers its full 10,000 LUX output. This is a key difference from many cheaper therapy lamps, which only reach 10,000 LUX at very short distances of 6" or less — distances that are uncomfortable to maintain during a 30-minute session.

Do I need to look directly at the lamp?

No. You should not stare directly into the lamp. Position it so it's at eye level or slightly above, angled toward you at about 15 degrees. Reading, eating breakfast, working, or scrolling on your phone during the session is fine — the light reaches your eyes naturally without direct staring.

Does the lamp emit UV rays?

No. The Day-Light Sky blocks 100% of UV rays. The light it emits is full-spectrum visible light only — it will not damage your skin or eyes during normal use.

Is this FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes — the Carex Day-Light Sky is FSA/HSA eligible.

What is the warranty?

The Day-Light Sky carries a 5-year limited warranty against defects. If the lamp becomes defective within five years, Carex will replace it or issue a refund. The lamp also comes with a 90-day return policy. Call us at 866-218-0902 for any warranty support.

Does this lamp have replaceable bulbs?

The Day-Light Sky uses LED light sources. LEDs are not user-replaceable in this model. In the event of LED failure within the 5-year warranty period, Carex will replace the lamp.

How does this compare to the Carex Day-Light Classic Plus?

Both the Day-Light Sky and the Day-Light Classic Plus are clinical-grade lamps with identical core specs: 10,000 LUX at 12", 4,000K color temperature, two light settings, height and angle adjustable, and light projecting from above. The primary differences are design and form factor. The Sky has a slightly more compact, contemporary profile that works well as a desk lamp. The Classic Plus is slightly larger. Both are appropriate for severe seasonal light deprivation — the choice comes down to which design fits your space and preference.

Pretty Darn Good
Format: Kindle
So I’ve been on a omega kick and this definitely hit the spot. Madison was frustrating at times with how she acted towards Lucas, Gray, and Rian. It was like she said towards the end, she didn’t believe she deserved nice things. It would have been nice to hear from her best friends again. They kind of were there in the beginning and the gone except for mention of text messages received from them. I feel like her friends would have been great help in encouraging Madison to go with the pack and never give Brent another chance because he was toxic. I loved Rian. His personality was awesome. His humor. His ability to make Madison comfortable whenever she was feeling overwhelmed. And the fact he fell for her and she fell for him first. They are cute together. I do feel like Lucas was the odd man out though. Like Lucas didn’t develop as much of a relationship with Madison. I would have really liked to see more development in the relationship between them. It was also the same with him and Rian. There is really no relationship displayed. Most of the relationship being displayed is between Rian and Gray. Nevertheless, I loved reading about the dynamic that came to fruition during the entirety of this story. Madison finally got her happiness. And Brent finally got punched in the face. Everyone got exactly what they deserve.

Pack's Promise was okay but not great
Format: Kindle
Pack's Promise was okay but not great. I won't recommend it to anyone that I know. PRO: * Very likable characters * Lots of steamy scenes that are written very well * The spelling and grammar are good * The punctuation is good with the exception of using hyphens instead of commas. Lots of hyphens. Lots and lots of hyphens. CON: * Almost no interactions with any characters outside of Madison and the pack * Nearly no plot. They meet, get together for a heat, agree to make it permanent, done * Quite a few typos such as extraneous words, missing words and words out of order THINGS TO KNOW: * More steamy scenes than storytelling * A lot of MM & MMM, some MFMM during heat

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.
