Californian Redwood Dreadnought Guitar Top Book-matched Set Spalted
Unique, long-rotation plantation Redwood from the Otway Ranges in Victoria. This timber has been air dried and seasoned for at least 4 years and has reached an EMC of approximately 8%.
Blemishes/Defects: see photos. Sap can be avoided if desired. Small freckle can be avoided. Bridge will cover grain lump if desired.
Timber is part of nature and unlike man-made products it may have natural features that could be undesirable for some luthiers. Although these features can purvey uniqueness and authenticity they may also be seen as imperfect by some. We have made every effort to highlight any blemishes or defects as best as we can.
