The soluble adhesive layer is not only compatible to the standard aromatic solvents (e. g. Xylene or Toluene) but also to special mixtures of non aromatic solvents or some "green solvent"

Coverslipping Film is a safer and faster alternative to a coverslip glass in cytological or histological laboratories.This unique flexible cellulose based film protects the specimen from dust, oxygen, moisture or accidental contact and allows longtime storage.The soluble adhesive layer is not only compatible to the standard aromatic solvents (e.g. Xylene or Toluene) but also to special mixtures of non-aromatic solvents or some "green solvent" mixtures.It replaces the usage of additional mounting media and exhibits an excellent optical clarity and optical performance in the microscopic analysis of the histological specimens.The special "VarioTexture" surface structure allows a very homogeneous distribution of solvent drops and an improved long term adhesion without any effects on the high transparency of the film after the coverslipping procedure.
