Innovacar SD1 Iron Shampoo

Innovacar's SD1 Iron Thixo Rapid is a quick-setting iron residue decontaminant with cleansing effects that also lead it to be used as a maintenance shampoo.

The main features of this product are:

• Decontaminates ferrous residue: it is suitable for treating all ferrous residue, such as brake disc particles, traffic film, acid rain and molecules that are deposited near railways and steel mills.
• Thixotropic function: it is a specific effect that allows the product to transform from gel to fluid and once it is on the surface, it thickens and clings. Once applied to the surface it adheres more, making it able to act for longer and suitable for working better on vertical surfaces (sides and rims).
• Slow drying: thanks to its concentration and greater dilution capacity, it dries slower than D1 Iron, making it even more effective.
• Maintenance shampoo: This is the perfect solution to be used in the wash and then as a car cleansing shampoo to be used about every 4 cleaning cycles.
• Quick decontamination: SD1 is the quickest acting ferrous decontaminant in the Innovacar range.
• Limescale remover: has a secondary action of eliminating traces of limescale, making it particularly suitable for this type of decontamination.
• Can also be used on painted brake calipers: the product does not alter the original color of the calipers.

Average consumption: 150 ml per vehicle as a decontaminant, 20 ml per vehicle as a shampoo.

How to use a ferrous shampoo and decontaminant, such as SD1 Iron Thixo Rapid on the rims:

1. We recommend spraying the product on the rims before washing – in case of significant contamination, you can use a brush.
2. Leave the product on for 3-5 minutes until the product reacts and changes colour to purple.
3. In the case of significant contamination, for the product to continue working for longer, we recommend wetting it to give it life once again and prevent it from drying excessively.
4. Rinse with plenty of water.
5. It is now possible to decontaminate the bodywork.

How to use a ferrous shampoo and decontaminant, such as SD1 Iron Thixo Rapid on the bodywork and windows:

1. Spray the product on the bodywork and on the windows, in case of significant contamination, you can apply with a brush or a mitt.
2. Leave the product on for 3-5 minutes until the product reacts and changes colour to purple.
3. In the event of major contamination, so that the product continues to work for longer, we recommend wetting the product to revive it and prevent it from drying out too much.
4. Rinse with plenty of water.

How to use a ferrous shampoo and decontaminant such as SD1 Iron Thixo Rapid as an iron decontaminating shampoo:

1. It is recommended to apply it every 4 wash cycles to purify the surface.
2. Proceed with the application of the product, using it as a ferrous decontaminating shampoo, diluted as necessary; apply it to the entire surface of the car, depending on the method of use chosen.
3. Wait 1 to 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
4. After this step, in case of significant decontamination and if ferrous residue persists, it is possible to apply the product with dilutions for extraordinary decontamination directly on the residue.
5. Wait 1 to 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Use for rust or severe contamination: use the product undiluted.

To treat surfaces contaminated with iron particles only: dilute up to 1:4, i.e. use at least 200 ml of product and fill the remaining part with water (800 ml) to obtain 1 L of ready-for-use solution.

If used as maintenance or foam shampoo: dilute 1:50; i.e. use 20 ml of product and add the remaining part of water (980 ml) to obtain 1 L of ready-for-use solution.

If applied with a foam lance or foam gun, the dilution ranges from undiluted to 1:8, i.e. use at least 100 ml of product and fill the remaining part of water (900 ml) to obtain 1 L of ready-for-use solution. While dispensing, the actual final dilution can reach approximately 1:15 to 1:135.

Precautions: do not allow the product to dry and do not apply it in the sun or on hot surfaces and fabrics. For the maximum decontaminating effect and high colour change, use the product undiluted.
