Vinyl LP pressing. 2011 debut album from the Indie Alt-Rockers. In 2008, Kevin Morby moved into Cassie Ramone's small apartment in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, for a few months. Morby, who plays bass in Woods, and Ramone, who sings and plays guitar in Vivian Girls, wanted to start a band. They both missed the sweaty loft shows they used to play before their bands moved on to larger venues and longer tours. Justin Sullivan, who had played with Ramone in Bossy, began practicing with them on drums, and The Babies debuted as a three-piece in March 2009 at Dead Herring, their friends' loft in Brooklyn. They played a few times before asking Nathan Stark, formerly of Bent Outta Shape, to join on bass, and the full lineup's first shows were that summer. The Babies wrote music and played shows in fits and spurts, whenever they all happened to be in town for a week. They recorded their self titled debut album with Jarvis Taveniere at Rear House Studios, which doubles as Morby's home; his vocals were done in his own bedroom. (Taveniere, Morby's bandmate in Woods, has also recorded Real Estate, Vivian Girls and Woods.)

Fun for Fido but flimsy
Color: A2-Blue
My 15 yearold mini Schnauzer, Sam, played with this for less than 1 hour and tore the rubber sleeve off it. I will say the toy itself is a genius idea. Sam was absolutely ensconced. I wish it were made sturdier.

It does exactly what they say it does! Worth the money
Color: A1-Red
It arrived quickly. It’s a fun toy! It’s the right size for cats. Definitely worth the money. It is exactly as described. So far, the quality seems very good and it seems durable. The instructions are on the side of the box, which makes learning how to operate it easy. I love it that it’s red, because my kitty seems to be attracted to red. My kitty is very interested in it, yet isn’t quite sure what to think of it. I love that it changes directions on its own so that it doesn’t get stuck or lost under furniture, which is typical for a ball that cats play with. It seems to only go two, three or four feet in one direction and then it changes directions, which is both good and bad. I just wish it would go farther in one direction before changing directions so that my kitty could chase it farther, as we have plenty of space in our house for her to run. But that certainly could be a plus for other cats, enjoying not knowing where the ball is going to go next and really keep them on their toes.

Cat loves this
Color: A1-Red
This toy is great for keeping pets entertained. The ball moves quickly and the tail makes it even more fun for cats to chase. It’s rechargeable and easy to use, and my pet stayed interested much longer than with regular toys.

Amazing and cute
Size: Small, Color: Pink, Size: Small, Color: Pink
I have a puppy who absolutely adores her toys, especially now that she’s teething! I picked out some pink ones that are just right for her—she’s only 2 1/2 months old and weighs 2 lbs. The best part is the variety of toys she loves to play with.

Built to Chew, Designed to Last – A Teething Pup’s Best Friend!
Size: Small, Color: Pink
These puppy chew toys are adorable and well made! I picked the pink set for my girl, but they come in several color options to suit any pup’s personality. So far, she hasn’t destroyed a single one — which says a lot, because she’s definitely in her teething phase.
That said, I do wish she’d chew on the toys more than she chews on me — ha! She seems to enjoy them most when I’m playing with her, so they’ve become a fun bonding tool. I also really appreciate that a couple of the toys can hold small treats. That keeps her entertained a bit longer and gives my hands a much-needed break.
Overall, this is a great little starter kit for teething puppies. Durable, cute, and interactive — we’re both happy with it!
