Pfm Forceps EWF 600 - The First And Award-Winning Wireless Electronic Forceps For The Histologic Lab
The "Red Dot Design Award"-winning pfm Forceps EWF 600 are a new addition to the pfm medical ag portfolio: for the first time, a wireless electronic forceps is available for the transfer and alignment of tissue samples during embedding in the histologic laboratories. The innovative concept and design of this product enables the temperature of the forceps tip to be monitored and controlled via Bluetooth, enabling paraffin blocks to be produced easily and accurately. The pfm Forceps EWF 600 consists of a base station and two wireless forceps with interchangeable tips. A total of five different versions of interchangeable tips are available. The tips are gold-plated for improved thermal conductivity. The forceps are placed in the base station for charging. The temperature data is transmitted wirelessly and controlled and permanently monitored via the touch screen. The forceps also have an integrated white light to illuminate the working area for better recognition of smaller samples. This new technology makes the forceps particularly convenient and efficient in use.
