U. K. progressive post-rock supergroup Crippled Black Phoenix is a musical collective that has featured nearly 30 members in it's rotating roster. The constant driving force is multi-instrumentalist Justin Greaves (Electric Wizard, Iron Monkey, Se Delan), who formed the band in 2004 with Mogwai bassist Dominic Aitchison. Creating what they describe as "endtime ballads" to signify both the slightly macabre nature of their songs and the unusual blend of styles as the final evolution in music. The band have made live shows a focus by performing in unusual venues across the world as well as using Victorian-era instruments in tandem with more modern instruments, often involving more than a dozen members on-stage. In 2006, Crippled Black Phoenix released their debut album, 'A Love of Shared Disasters', on Invada Records followed in 2009 by 'The Resurrectionists' and 'Night Raider', which have now been remastered for reissue on Kscope - following the success of their 2018 album 'Great Escape' on Season of Mist. 'The Resurrectionists' and 'Night Raider' completed a trilogy with 'A Love of Shared Disasters', featuring literary historical tales and personal stories of loss and love, the band produced a captivating sound that's simultaneously archaic and modern. Back in 2004, the then Electric Wizard drummer Justin Greaves started recording songs he'd had in his head for several years using primitive recording techniques; these recordings formed the bones of Crippled Black Phoenix. During 2006 the band recorded their debut album in Bristol during the recording old friends aligned and helped Greaves fully realize visions that had been pestering him for years. The result is the culmination of all the members' eclectic influences. This vinyl edition of 'Night Raider' is released in tandem with 'The Resurrectionists' as a double LP in gatefold packaging, featuring newly remastered audio and newly designed artwork. The re-issues will follow the band's 20-date headline European tour in support of their new album 'Great Escape'.

It definitely is fiber
Flavor Name: Original Coarse Sugar, Size: 1.86 Pound (Pack of 1)
It is nice to take a break from the orange flavoring they have with the original one, and the sugar does help it go down easier, but please for your sanity DO NOT DRINK THIS WITH JUST PLAIN WATER. I like to mix it up in flavored water with those sugar free drops that let me control what flavor the water is without suffering from raw dogging the unflavored powder because that will taste like drinking a glass of sand. Next time I'll try out the clear blend without any sugar to see if there's a difference, but this bottle will last a while. Also be gradual with introducing it into your diet and work up to a few teaspoons throughout your day to not overload your body.
All that aside, it works well and my body feels more comfortable with the extra fiber in my life. I highly recommend some form of this because it's really tough to get enough fiber in many diets.

Unflavored but sweetened Metamucil
Flavor Name: Original Coarse Sugar, Size: 1.86 Pound (Pack of 1)
If the orange flavored Metamucil is too acidic for you but you want a sweetened unflavored variation, this is just right. It is sometimes hard to find and is often sold out at the drug store or grocery store. I was glad to find it on Amazon.
