Glass fiber composite cones, die-cast aluminum midbass baskets, composite soft dome tweeters with milled aluminum housings.

This set is aimed at modern active installs with a DSP, so no passive filters are included. This is a pure modern SQ set, not suitable for old school setups.

While these are capable of taking some power and pounding properly, when tuned delicately in pure SQ, they overdeliver - we've tuned them in cars where we could make presets without a subwoofer only with the Q65C playing where you couldn't notice the difference between sub on and sub off, this is how smooth they play down low. Of course they cannot push subwoofer levels of lows, but frequency wise they do it. For classical, jazz at modest listening levels these sound fantastic even standalone. Which talks volumes about their capability.
