2016 collection of favorites compiled by the world's favorite surfer himself. Corky Carroll, who has been a showman since he began surfing professionally at 16, started his career playing music at 24 and retired from a career in professional surfing with the highest honors. Corky was put on salary by Hobie Surfboards in 1964 to become the first full time professional surfer. He won the first-ever cash-prize surfing event in 1965 and would go on to be a five-time US Surfing Champion 1966-70. His favorite achievement though, is winning Surfer Magazine's 1968 Surfer's Poll Award in which he was voted Best Surfer in the World by fans and peers. Corky Carroll has made a dozen or so records (so far), both self-released and with backing, beginning with the lovely Hawaiiana/Californiana/Surfiana cultural artifact, Laid Back, 1971. Corky's most popular album, A Surfer for President, 1979, promoted his "fun little campaign" for POTUS - a classic Corky lark, which resulted in "more votes than most people thought possible". The single "Tan Punks on Boards" from A Surfer for President achieved gold record status - 500,000 units sold. The novelty single "Skateboard Bill", 1977, with awesome cover art by Rick Griffin, is simply the greatest skateboard song ever. These songs are also, of course, from the shared perspective of all of us eternal surf kids who see paradise paved and share a dream about life on an empty palm-fringed beach with perfect waves and an endless summer. Corky truly is the heart and soul of good vibrations. Corky Carroll lives with his wife, Raquel, on the beach at La Saladita, Guerero, Mexico. He records at home, surfs the world-class, reverse Malibu, 100+ yard long wave in 80 degree water every day, hosts happy surfing guests at his awesome home right on the sand and writes a hugely popular, twice weekly column for the OC Register.

Nice looking medium sized backpack purse
Color: Pink
Although it says nylon in the description, mine is a soft pleather in a soft pink color. Although it has a lot of pockets for storage, it isn't large capacity. It is good for a wallet, phone, water bottle, sandwich, perhaps a cosmetic bag, and that's about it. I do not like pink accessories but this is a creamy light tone of pink and looks nice. The straps are adjustable and very comfortable in the same padded pleather. Lightweight.

Great to take on a trip
Color: Black
We love to cruise and always take an extra backpack with us so we can load up on the travel booty and have a place to put it. Works well as your "one plus" item on the airlines. So the quality on this backpack is just fine. No issues at all. Nothing was falling apart or coming off. Very small when you fold it up which is great for packing in your suitcase. Holds a ton of stuff.... I'd do some shopping to make sure this fits your needs. There are a ton of backpack's in this price range and some appear to have more features.... Also looks... some are cooler looking, but that's just my opinion...even though I'm right... This will do well for you as others will do too... You get a 30 day return policy with this so you could try it out first to see if you like it... if not, return it... nothing to loose...

Decent basic backpack
Color: Green
This is a good, basic backpack. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it's a solid choice. The sizing is average, it will hold several books and notebooks. The padding felt adequate for most items, but I'm not sure how much I would trust it with an expensive Mac book. The straps were easy to adjust and padded enough. I appreciate that it could be folded up and put into another bag if you needed an extra bag while traveling - it would make a good day pack. Overall a good deal for what it is.

Sturdy, attractive, comfortable, large capacity; lightweight, back strap to fit luggage
Color: Green, Color: Green
There are several good features for this BAGOK Lightweight Nylon Backpack, starting with the attractive green color that I chose. It is light weight and foldable yet has lots of pockets. The stitching is good, and the zippers work nicely. The back adjustable straps have padding and netting for cooling. There is also a handle on top for carrying and a backstrap to fit over luggage. On the front, there are two zippered compartments. The small one at the top could hold a wallet or passport or tickets. The larger front pocket is roomy with the zipper under an overhanging fabric. Inside is lined with black nylon. The frontmost large compartment extends the length and width of the backpack. The larger main compartment is at the back and has padding to safely store a laptop, e reader or other electronics. There are two nylon pockets inside the main compartment on one side. There are two outer side pockets. I was able to fit a water bottle in them when the inside was empty. However, if the entire backpack is filled, I don't think a water bottle will fit. One drawback is the side pockets are not elasticized--they don't stretch. I will use this for day trips and travel. It is too large to be a personal item on airlines, but it could be a carryon. You can get a lot of things in it. The nylon material is sturdy and should stand up to wear. I am short, 5'2" female and I could adjust the straps to be comfortable for me. And it does fold up for storage between uses. This could also withstand daily use for hiking, work or school
