LP pressing. Treetop Flyers new album Palomino comes two and a half years on from their acclaimed debut album The Mountain Moves. Recorded at the band's own Soup Studios in London, self-produced along with the help of some friends - and then mixed by Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Conor Oberst, Elvis Costello) - their new outlook was to embrace the unknown, and begin experimenting. New synths, new pedals and new techniques helped them to unravel their own sound, as well as conceptions of the classic qualities laid down by their forebears, ultimately uniting them with a purposely accentuated groove and unfathomably tight vocal harmonies - all threaded together by Reid's own soulful melancholy. Setting the tone for the album, opener 'You, Darling You' is a reflection on the old saying "sometimes loving someone means letting them go". In this case it's over a failed marriage, but the record picks up on some of the themes of death and departure that made up The Mountain Moves. 31 Years tracks a goodbye to a friend who passed away during the recording of their debut, and St Andrew's Cross is a lament to the passing of Reid's father, used almost in therapy by the band as a way to reconcile the past and the unknown ahead, all at once. Interestingly, it's the band's own smart production (as well as tracks like Dance Through The Night and Falling Back) that injects real life into Palomino.

really flat

The power strip itself is mostly normal. Not too thin, not too bulky, but it's the plug that makes this extra special. It's the thinnest we've found so far, which is excellent for hiding behind furniture that blocks outlets, while this strip still makes power easily accessible.
Though I will say I do appreciate the USB A and C ports for charging and find them quite handy for quick charging devices. It is a lot more useful than I originally thought.
My main gripe is that the mounting on the back is not the typical X X insets that others have, which allow sliding the screws into any direction, so it can be mounted any direction, and instead are just - - so it can only slide a single direction, which I find much more limited when we mounted these under our kids' desks.

Perfect for behind desks

I bought this 2-pack of power strip surge protectors because I was tired of having to pull my dresser and nightstands 3 inches away from the wall just to plug something in. These have been a total game-changer for my home office and bedroom.
Why These Are a Must-Have:
• The Ultra-Thin Flat Plug: This is the best feature. The plug is so slim that I can push my furniture almost completely flush against the wall. No more wasted space or awkward gaps!
• USB-C Ports Included: Finding a strip with 2 USB-C ports (plus a standard USB-A) at this price point is rare. I can fast-charge my phone and tablet directly from the strip without needing those bulky power bricks.
• Long 10 Ft Cord: The 10-foot length gave me the flexibility to mount one under my desk while the other reaches all the way across the room to a hard-to-reach outlet.
• Peace of Mind: With 1700 Joules of surge protection, I feel much safer plugging in my expensive laptop and monitor.
A Quick Note:
The mounting holes on the back are great for keeping the floor clear, but make sure you have your own small screws, as they don't always come with the specific ones for every wall type.
The Verdict: Getting two of these for such a reasonable price is a steal. They look clean, feel sturdy, and the flat plug design is genius.
10/10 would buy again for the rest of the house!

Great For Battery Chargers On a Shelf!
Love this power strip, had it for probably a year plus now abs works great! The sole reason I purchased this item was so I can select what stays on and what gets turned off. I have this in my utility room and the sole purpose is to plug in battery chargers and to be able to turn off those battery chargers and leave the charger sitting there with the battery in the charger with no power. There is a light that tells you when a product is on and when a product is off . Example: I have AA&AAA battery charger, Ryobi leaf blower charger, Ryobi edger charger and any other charger I want. I have a night light plugged into it because angle allows that. The strip also has a USB that I use for a rechargeable Dremel used for dog nails or toy could use it for cell phone etc. My Flying Pig Grooming Dryer is attached and used with this strip as well. I have had no tripping issues with this power strip but I do keep in mind one high power items such as my grooming dryer at a time.
I have a different company's power strip in my room just for you ladies it hidden behind a mirror and you can keep all your appliances plugged in and cell phones with the option of turning them all off with a button, cutting off power. This is an easy to reach power cord great for putting on a shelf. I am not sure how well it would work behind furniture due to the angle of the plugs. This worked with no issues and I would recommend this and purchase again. Now I am not concerned about saving items due to power surges with this power strip, I have strips that cost a lot of money a lifetime guarantee for those high end electronics like computers TV sets Etc

Good setup
This has been super useful and functional, I recommend it as it’s a nice way to keep your setup organized, I enjoy having the on and off switches go each outlet, only call out would be the buttons light up when on to show they are on and they are quite bright, so take note of it, it catches me off guard sometimes when I forget they light up and I turn my lights off, but it’s easier to keep in mind what I have charging. The speed of charging is good, the amount of plugs is a fair amount, I plug in my head phones, phone, watch, power bank and monitor. Then there’s the two usb as well as 2 usbc ports, it’s very convenient. It held up well it’s definitely good quality.
