Paxman Academy F/Bb Full Double Horn

This is a high quality Geyer style intermediate double horn, part of a new series from Paxman to make some of their classic designs available at a lower price point. This new full double horn features Paxman design to ensure superior playing characteristics.  The adjustable finger hook and change valve paddle are adjustable to fit any hand size.  The open Bb first slide and extended Bb second slide ring are nice professional touches.  The medium size bell flare is the preferred size for most players, and the fixed bell flare is simpler for younger players.  The Academy model has a wonderful consistency throughout the entire range of the instrument, and is a worthy alternative to several of our other favorites in this price range, including the Josef Lidl, Conn 10D, and Yamaha 567.  The Paxman Academy is a great choice for anyone looking to upgrade from a rental horn or from their school horn.
