Hästen – genom tiderna ovärderlig och betydelsefull, både som levande djur och som symbol. I samband med Sveriges kristnande försökte kyrkan bekämpa allt som förknippades med den tidigare asatron, däribland hästen, men i norra Dalarna behöll hästen trots det sin särställning. En trogen vän och arbetskamrat i jord- och skogsbruket och senare i gruvorna. Till arbetskamratens ära täljdes små trähästar, ursprunget till Dalahästen såsom vi känner den idag. Här är vår tolkning och hyllning till hästen. I en mörk nattblå ton.
