My Color Elixir dye does not contain the main "unwanted" substances:
- PPD (para-phenylenediamine): basic coloring group in dye products that is also the major allergen in hair dyes.
- Ammonia: an alkaline agent used to open the perimeter scales and penetrate the paint and has an unpleasant and heavy smell.
- Alcohol: can irritate the scalp and dehydrate hair
- Resorcinol, Parabens, Propylene Glycol, SLS, Mineral oil, Silicones, 26 identified perfume allergens: substances that are often suspected of allergies, irritations and other undesirable effects.
