Our buckskin toys can be ordered as either lightweight (< 3oz) or heavyweight (> 4oz) and are crafted with either elk or deer hide falls. Our 'lightweight' buckskin flogger features a soft and buttery sensation and tends to make for a good warm-up toy, as the light weight of the hide makes it difficult to get a heavy hit. The soft leather falls also make for great sensation play before a flogging. Our 'heavyweight' buckskin flogger, while still buttery, offers a heavier and deeper thud and makes for a good warm-up or signature toy and also makes for excellent sensation play.

The length and width of the fall, handle, and grip can always be customized at your request. Please note that our handle braids, hanging loop, and handle wraps are all made with cowhide. The pricing tiers are based on total square footage of leather used in the toy. This means within the same size toy shorter or thinner falls will result in greater total fall count, and longer or wider falls will result in a smaller total fall count. To give you an idea of the range for elk and deer (other leathers vary).

Example Cuts (and fall sheet sqft size):

• Little guys have approx. 30 falls, 15" x ½"  (~1.56sqft fall sheet) ~7½-8" Handle
• Smalls have approx. 36 falls, 16" x ½"  (~2sqft fall sheet) ~8-8½" Handle
• Standards have approx. 50 falls, 18" x ½" (~3.125sqft fall sheet) ~8-9" Handle
• Larges have approx. 80 falls, 20-22" x ½" (~5.83sqft fall sheet) ~10-10½" Handle
  
• XLs have approx. 120 Falls, 26" x ½" (~10.83sqft fall sheet) ~13" Handle

We counterbalance each piece individually so that the pivot point is at the top of the hand, to ease the ergonomics of a figure eight throw.

If you want to buy one that is already made and ready to ship, We sometimes have a few available. Saw a particular toy you loved at a convention? Tell us! We may be still have it, or be able to make something similar.

We stand by the durability of our toys. If you manage to break one, let us know how, mail it to us or bring it to us at a convention, and we will fix it. All leather toys are guaranteed for the lifetime of the builder.
