A brief appearance on Billboard's Bubbling Under chart belies the fact that the Charmaines were Cincinnati's leading 1960s girl group. Formed by Marian "Gigi" Jackson, Dee Watkins and Irene Vinegar, the group was awarded a contract with Fraternity Records for winning a talent show. Gigi's sister Jerri sang on many of the group's records but was too young to perform in nightclubs. When Dee left to get married, Jerri joined as a full-time member. The Charmaines called it a day in the early 70s but several of their records remained popular with dancers on the UK's Northern Soul scene. That popularity received a boost in the mid-2000s when their great version of Ike & Tina Turner's 'I Idolize You' was made available for the first time, immediately finding favour with DJs and club-goers. During their career the Charmaines had singles on six different labels, but they never did have an album released. We rectify that situation here with this stylishly packaged vinyl-only 14-track collection of their finest Fraternity recordings. Along with 'I Idolize You', highlights include 'What Kind Of Girl (Do You Think I Am)', 'On The Wagon' (as covered by the Ronettes), their rip-roaring version of 'Rockin' Pneumonia' and three terrific examples of their work as backing singers for label-mates Lonnie Mack and Carl Edmondson.

Great for potty training

We really like these pull ups and they have worked well for us during potty training. They are easy to pull on and off, which is great for toddlers who are learning to be more independent.
They fit well and do a good job containing messes without leaking. I also like that they feel comfortable and not too bulky, so my child can move around easily.
Overall, these have been a reliable option for us and something we continue to use during this stage.

Good pull ups, it could get a little linty but it fits perfectly on my toddler. It stretches which I love. I do love how I could strap and unstrap the sides of the pull up. The designs on the pull up are cute. It holds a lot of pee and soaks it up very well. It’s comfortable on my toddler and the pee and poop doesn’t leak out of it. It is worth the money.

The Fast & the Curious- Potty Drift

Who knew toddler potty training required both a PhD in fluid dynamics and Jedi mind tricks? These Pull-Ups prove the science part: leak-proof, absorbent, and surprisingly soft. The toddler-psychology part? That’s a battle of wills.
Our little one was a die-hard fan of Huggies diapers—too loyal, in fact. We begged, we bribed, we pleaded: “Please, let’s move on!” Resistance was fierce. So we went stealth mode, sneaking Pull-Ups on at night like parents on a covert mission.
Credit to mom—she cracked the code and finally got the kid interested in the toilet. Suddenly, the “potty rush” moments became less of a flood and more of a sprint. Diapers were too slow to peel off; Pull-Ups gave our little sprinter the speed boost they needed.
They’re soft, rash-free, and practically leak-proof (unlike that other brand we don’t speak of). Pro tip: size up for easier toddler self-removal.
The result? A drier, happier kid, less laundry for us, and the toilet finally earning MVP status. If you’re ready for your toddler to graduate from Diaper University, this is the diploma. Bonus: you’ll save money too.

I'm using these again for the 3rd time and they're great as always. My 3rd is still having some issues at night time with bed wetting, and as they get older the bigger the mess, so these truly hold up to a full bladder. And they don't smell by morning like some diaper brands. I'm usually against pull ups, but these are great for up and down ease of use and that added protection when it comes to potty training. I love the bigger size inclusion for larger children which we struggle with for comfort compared to other brands.
