As a society, we do not wish to know about painful and dreadful things that may happen to us or to our families. I never read much about the illness. I always thought; confusion, leaving on gas taps etc. That was my great knowledge of Dementia. The only way forward, I now know, is research and if people are made aware that brain research will in time find a cure
