The Toughened Glass Lid is made of heat-resistant glass with a strong stainless steel rim and stay-cool knob. It stops the spatter of hot liquids. You can judge the food as it is being made without lifting the lid. The box consists of Hawkins Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Deep Kadhai with Rosewood Handles, 4 Litre, with a Glass Lid (SSK40G), a wooden spatula, a scrubber, Guarantee Card and Instruction Manual. It is a well-designed Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Kadhai. It retains the advantages of cooking on stainless steel surfaces while eliminating the disadvantages of sticking and burning that come with normal stainless steel. It is made of three layers. The cooking surface is made of AISI 304, 18/8 food-grade stainless steel that is extremely hygienic, durable, and non-reactive to most foods. It does not pit or corrodes. The core is made of heavy gauge aluminum which spreads heat evenly and prevents hot spots. The base and the outer surface are made of AISI 430 grade magnetic steel, works well on gas, ceramic, halogen, electric, and induction cooktops. It is guaranteed for 5 years. It is securely packed in an attractive box – ideal for gifting.
