About the Author

R. E. Darhcs is a poet residing in Jefferson County, Missouri, with his wife. He is actively involved in his local Rotary Club and his church, where he serves as a server, an extraordinary minister, and a door greeter. An avid hiker and birdwatcher, many of his poems and musings are inspired by the great outdoors and the beauty of nature, often featuring birds. He and his wife enjoy visiting National Parks and State Parks for hiking. He comes from a large family of eight siblings who remain close, often traveling and hiking together.
