Initially, I assumed these shelves must have been the top of a dresser, but then I haven't seen a concave dresser top/bottom before? Maybe a settle? Although it all looks like it was built at the same time, so maybe it's purpose-built as bookshelves? The sleigh feet are very old too, so are either original or added very soon after.

Very good condition -  just the expected patina and wear for its age, please see photos.
