The manhunters of the Human Sphere form a society of their own within the broader underworld of soldiers of fortune. They are not merely gunmen with a holobadge and an authorization code. It takes more than marksmanship to do their job. It also takes tracking skills to locate the prey so it can be caught or shot for the reward. But Bounty Hunters can hardly be said to possess a talent for investigation; most of them just combine their street smarts with a heavy dose of brutality and violence. The key to this business is knowing which doors to kick down and which peeps to beat up to get the leads they need. Violence, extortion, bribery... Anything goes when impunity is the norm —“No problem, I got a badge. I’m syn-dee-cated”. The Bounty Hunter Syndicate is the official organization that will take care of them and will get them the top security clearance available under whichever legal framework they are forced to operate. And near the borders of the Sphere, where business is best, there is no legal framework to speak of.
However, in spite of their unorthodox methods — or because of them — Bounty Hunters get the job done. They are agents of law and order, and as despised as they are by the Police, they often collaborate closely with law enforcement in joint arrest operations.
Even under the legal protection offered by the Syndicate, a professional Bounty Hunter will adapt to whatever work environment is at hand, since roving the Sphere is part of the job description. While in PanOceania he will pay for 24-hour online legal counseling, as he knows a single slip is all it takes for PanOceanian shark attorneys to eat him alive. While in Yu Jing, he will show the utmost adherence to the precepts of the Imperial System, and in return, he will have the maximum license you can ask for in a society that favors exemplary punishment for all criminals. While in Bourak he must be exquisitely law-abiding, for the slightest abuse will not be tolerated, and the threat of a Hassassin sanction ever looms. While on a Nomad ship, he will be given free reign as long as he shows respect to law enforcers. But it’s within the borderlands of Ariadna and Human Edge that the Bounty Hunter paradise lies: savage, isolated areas where he can enjoy the ultimate freedom of action. And yet this law of human nature is true in all places: when the silvery promise of bounty fills the air, weapons materialize and wolves fall upon their prey.

Look nice and were an easy setup.

Simple and do what they are supposed to do. I use them to add a bit of flare to my desktop setup for online meetings, etc. If I had to nitpick, I'd say cabling is always interesting to route to reduce desk clutter, but I am not going to remove a star for what pretty much has to be. They look nice too.

Good, but missing white (ww) hues hurt performance

I bought these lights just a little over a year ago, and overall I’m pleased with them. I bought them because standard strip lighting does not work well with the shape of my ultra flat TV, something I did not consider on purchasing the TV.
The lighting effects that these can produce are really impressive, at times you can see what appears to be the individual LEDs and the effects are somewhat more granular or pixelated than other lights from GOVEE.
The issue I have with these lights is that they are not able to produce cool, white and warm white, and they do not render colors like other bulbs from GOVEE. Colors on these lights tend to be brighter than every other light source I have from Govee, including their lightbulbs and their floor lamps. Although I knew about the white rendering, I did not realize how annoying it would be to see warm, white and cool, white rendered poorly on these TV lights. If you want to truly seamless and integrated looking product, I suggest you look elsewhere as these aren’t quite there. If you don’t care or are using these in a room where you don’t have any other light sources from Govee, then go for it — you’ll love them.

Great way to control TV and radio in one room from an easy chair in another room!
I help a 96 year old blinded vet with tech support -- and as his health worsens, needed to make his TV, his radio, and the audio switch that selects what audio should go into his hearing aids via Bluetooth work from his easy chair in his living room. All the equipment is in his bedroom. This IR repeater system installed quickly and easily and works perfectly. Now he can summon ball games, news, or whatever he wants without fear of getting up and falling down. A perfect solution!

Magic!!!
I am no tech expert but these little guys are magic! We had just put in a wall of built-ins and desperately wanted to hide our cable box behind a cabinet, but with it being infrared this would not work without these little repeaters! First off I just have to say that the Sewell customer service is off the charts. You actually get to speak to a real person right away, no annoying menu after menu trying to get help. They helped us so much when we hit a couple snags. Here are a couple things that I figured out that I hope will help others. First you can hide both of these little discs, they both come with tiny little eyes that can attach to your tv and cable box or whatever you are trying to use them for, and they are nearly invisible. Second, don’t get nervous when you plug them into the power outlet and the lights don’t come on, this is ok and they aren’t supposed to stay on, they kind of blink here and there, and only when you use your remote. Third, we have an Altice One cable box (not the mini, just a regular cable box) and it was impossible to find the eye to attach the emitter’s eye (Side note: we had to put the emitter disc on top of the cable box because we couldn’t fit the emitter disc pointing in front of cable box. The directions give you both options though and you can basically put it anywhere as long as the eyes attach). The phone trick did not work on this particular cable box. But after trying about a dozen different spots on the front of the box we finally got it to work by putting the eye right on where the digital clock numbers are. I put it basically right on top of the colon (:). Cable vision was no help with this so I hope this can save others from our frustration. After we found the eye everything came together and worked perfectly! No more do we need to keep the cabinet open to change channels… it’s a miracle!!! Hope these little guys work forever.
