Local Action presents the debut album by Erskine Lynas, Lease Of Youth. Although Erskine - aka Thomas Emslie - is a new name, he's a long-time ally of Local Action who was known for his acclaimed electronic work as T_A_M. Written and recorded in Aberdeen throughout Summer '16, Lease Of Youth is heavily inspired by the naive melodic synth-pop of bands like Tears For Fears, The Blue Nile, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, and Magnetic Fields, smeared against the grey skies and coastline of Emslie's hometown with an approach to after-effects and sampling that betrays his relationship with modern electronic music. Although the album's lyrics are downcast, they're paired against bright sounds in a bittersweet way. All vocals, production, and instrumentation are handled by Emslie himself, with a knack for hooks and ear-worms far beyond his years.

Dog loves them, no rawhide!
My dog is obsessed with these! We have a 70 pound pit mix who is a power chewer and these rolls last forever. He goes crazy for the peanut butter taste and it takes him a couple of days to really destroy one entirely. They are very effective for keeping him busy as the size is massive. I like giving him something so large because he then sets his mind to it for a long time. I like that they have a lot of collagen in them, I can't say I've noticed that his coat is a great deal shinier but it can't hurt! I also like that these are rawhide free. I would say these are a good value as they keep him busy for a good amount of time.

These are great my dog loved it
Well, I can say one thing I have shepherd. Wolf hybrids, and they are very particular about the stuff they eat. I can give them raw meat, and if it's old, they don't want it, so they're pretty finicky, I hooked them up with these. And they didn't hesitate to go at them. So I wait, I fed half, and then waited a couple of days, they had no negative response to it. That I'm aware of and so I gave him the other one and split it between them, and they don't stop until they're gone. So they pretty much sold themselves for me. If mine My dogs will eat em.They must be okay worth the money in my book.Made my babies happy should get some for yours my dogs are like super chooers.Okay, they have jaws that break bone.So to try to say that these are not good for heavy chewers, I i can't agree with that.Although they won't last very long with heavy chewers, they do great.The dogs love them we only smell was the smell of the product.Kind of a food smell to it.And as soon as I opened the package, the dogs had me surrounded like the sue did old custard, and they weren't letting me go until I shared straight up the male's a hundred plus pounds.And he's eyeballing me like, i'm gonna be lunch.If I don't give him a share, it was funny as hell a great product i think one of the things is the peanut butter.That's in them.My dogs love their peanut butter now.These are almost a foot long each stick, and they're about an inch and a half in diameter.Now they would last for a pretty good time for a normal chew type.DogRottweiler's pit bull saint bernard's high bread.Shepherds, et cetera, anything with a two thousand pound byte is going to tear these things up and have a great time.Doing itThey won't last as long as the dainty chewers and the the comfort chewers, but they'll do the job

Not made for Golden Retrievers.
Nope. Did not last an hour with our Golden Retrievers. We bought these for Christmas hoping to entertain our 2 and 4 year old Goldens while cleaning their teeth. Within an hour they were destroyed.
