Desert Fox Motorcycle Rackless Pannier Bags

A lightweight, easy-to-fit soft pannier kit that does not require side pannier racks. Supplied with all accessories, including bottle bags and an additional top bag.

Description::

The Desert Fox NAMIB rackless pannier system is designed with simplicity in mind.

This system provides a super-tough, lightweight, easy-fit solution, without the need for pannier racks.

Rackless means just that: The supplied  adjustable base harness is all you need to securely mount the Namib to your bike

Suitable for just about every bike: Adventure, Enduro or Suoperbike.

There is even an option for bikes with rear petrol tanks, such as the KTM 690 or Husqvarna 701, which allows for easy refuelling, without having to remove the panniers.

Vesatile: you choose the configuration:

Where the versatility really kicks in is that you decide the configuration:

  • Both 15 L panniers have Hyperon Molle panels on the front and back.
  • Easily add the included 1.5L bottle/utility holders with the included  Molle sticks. Or leave off. The choice is yours
  • The removable beaver tail also has a Hyperon Molle panel for additional molle accessories.
  • Attach the supplied top bag to the Beaver tail or leave it off.
  • The beaver tail is adjustable, allowing a rider to pack items underneath it, such as duffel bags (e.g., Storm 190, tents, sleeping bags & wet and dirty items.
  • The beaver Tail is completely removable, allowing for larger volume duffel bags (e.g, Storm 380)

Molle refers to a modular system used in military applications. M in Molle stands for modular, referring to a system of modular gear components that attach to one another. As it is a standardised system, virtually any Molle component will fit, regardless of brand.

Built to last:

  • Manufactured from bulletproof 1680 D Ballistics nylon, arguably the toughest textile available for premium luggage systems.

Ballistic nylon refers to a very specific type of nylon fabric that has been engineered for unrivalled abrasion & tear resistance. In fact, its original intended purpose was for the protection of aircraft personnel to protect them from shrapnel and other debris that were the result of gunfire, artillery shell explosions, and other ballistic impacts (hence the name)

  • Military-grade aluminium Alpha X buckles, as used in extreme avalanche airbag applications.

With their straightforward yet robust design, such buckles offer effortless opening, locking, and adjusting even while wearing riding gloves. Unlike their plastic counterparts, these buckles can withstand the rough terrain of off-road travel without succumbing to damage. Say goodbye to constant repairs and have peace of mind with these reliable aluminium buckles.

  • All Molle panels are made from super tough Hyperlon, as opposed to simply stitching. Molle straps the bag. This not only ensures additional strength but also eases the fitment of extra components
  • Molle sticks are used rather than outdated, loose straps with press studs. This allows for a secure and effortless attachment or removal of extra components.

Benefits of the Desert Fox rackless pannier system:

  • Reduces weight and cost by eliminating the need for side racks.
  • Saves the cost of side racks.
  • A lighter, more streamlined motorcycle luggage system.
  • Easy to fit or move to another bike.
  • Pivot mounting system: only 4 straps to mount ot remove.
  • Multiple pack size configurations.

Each Desert Fox Namib kit is supplied with everything required:

  • An adjustable Base harness,
  • 2 x 15 L panniers,
  • 2 x 100%  waterproof inner bags (removable).
  • 2 x 1.5 L Molly Bottle/ utility holders,

Good book
Format: Paperback
Still working through it but I have no complaints. I have a shelf of no starch books and have not been disappointed by any. Some, of course, are better than others but this is a good book.

Format: Paperback
Seriously though great writing and explanation along with great history lessons. Also highly recommend for anyone working in the data science field.

Ok content, not great explanations (2.5 our of 5 stars)
Format: Paperback
I found the contents of this book to be simply ok: either too simple, or the more complicated algorithms and concepts would not be as carefully explained as they should have been. It is not a terrible book, but it feels as though the author did not go over many drafts/iterations of this work.

An Excellent Self-Discovery Approach to Learning Algorithms
Format: Paperback
I have an Ivy League Master's Degree in Computer Science although it was accomplished 35 years ago. Of course, I had to complete an ACM-type course in Algorithms and Data Structures on the undergraduate and graduate level and managed to by rote accomplish enough to satisfy these courses. But until seeing this great book I never had the feeling of gaining an understanding of the approach to learning and building algorithms and the extent to which it is an important component of all programs. By a journey of guided self-discovery the author shows, not only the necessity of algorithms and their canonical forms, but a path to understanding the construction of algorithms to accomplish common and not so common practical problems. These range from the simple to understand, e.g. implementing Russian Peasant Multiplication, to advanced and up to date topics like Machine Learning. The highest praise I can give this book is that as a journey of guided self-discovery it produces an understanding in the reader of the process of constructing and understanding these algorithms and their place in all programming.

Easy to understand, makes algorithms exciting again!
Format: Kindle
Dive Into Algorithms speaks to me directly as a very intrepid beginner myself. I was given another "learn Python" book several years ago and it languishes on a shelf undisturbed to this day. Dive Into Algorithms had me hooked by the first parfait recipe. Mr. Tuckfield explains concepts in such a way that any student can learn something. The history, physics, cooking, and math lessons teach us that algorithms are everywhere, and they're not big scary 'big data' monsters out to ruin us. Instead, they're tools to help understand the world around us. This book has made me excited about programming again. Thank you.
