Following their striking debut on DKA Records in 2014, High-Functioning Flesh delivered an exceptional step forward in their sound on their sophomore effort for Dais Records, the "Definite Structures" LP in 2015. Since then, High-Functioning Flesh find themselves at their sharpest and most poised position to date within the album "Culture Cut".Produced by the band in their personal studio during the Fall of 2016, Vand and Subtract felt the need to start the recording process on fresh footing, and composed "Culture Cut" using a variety of newly acquired vintage Roland and Oberheim equipment, creating entirely new percussion and synth samples to break out of familiar writing habits. The result was an album written in the face of a world unraveling - with several tracks addressing the dynamics of life in our current political climate. Songs such as "Drawn Out" discuss the observation of projected failure in our daily lives while "Provoke the Wound" projects a vision of dystopian collapse. "Hands at Play" reveal the band's more melodic sound, previously debuted on "Heightened State", the b-side to their "Human Remains" single. Regardless of this pliant approach, lyrically the band holds firm to it's abstract doubt and disinclined sense of compromise.

Drill bits not sharp

Just used the shelf pin hole jig for the first time. Seams to be a decent product. The failure with this product is the all too Repetitive China Factor. As everything they make to be sold in America has that inherent built-in factor for failure. It starts with the drill bit. Not sharp at all wich causes you to add more pressure than is needed, which causes the depth collar to slide on the drill bit, because it is made of cheap metal. Be very careful. After about 8-10 holes check your depth.

Great Value, Compact, & Reliable Mous

The Amazon Basics 2.4Ghz mouse works well right out of the box. I really appreciate its compact size, as it doesn’t take up much space on a mouse pad or flat surface—great if you’re working in a limited area. Its ergonomic design also feels comfortable under the hand. Overall, I think it offers good value for the money, and it’s very easy to set up and use. So far, the battery life has been solid—I’ve used it for three months and it’s still going strong. I put in Amazon Basics battery in this mouse, and surprisingly it lasting a long time.

A Simple, Effective, and Inexpensive Device

I have tried many variations of the standard computer mouse over the years. You probably have too. From weird angles, extra buttons in the scroll, funny side buttons that only make you go backwards on your web browser...Sometimes, you just want a point, click, scroll...and that's it.
Pros:
- This mouse delivers on simplicity. It doesn't have fancy advanced features. This basically functions as a point and click. It has a left and right hand button to do those old fashioned right and left button tasks. It has a basic scroll button. It's low tech features, but quality built for those features that it has.
- It seems to work on most surfaces without a mouse pad.
- Cost is ridiculously low. It's almost so low that you question its quality. In this case - it's Amazon. Amazon has really delivered on their Amazon Basics division. This falls neatly into that category of awesome but inexpensive Amazon Basics stuff.
- Connected within a second to my computer (Mac). I don't see any connectivity issues. I didn't have to download drivers at all.
Cons
- I haven't used it long term yet so if there is a break down, or the battery life turns out to be poor, I will update. For now, it's behaving beautifully.
Overall, if you miss a nice, simple, uncomplicated mouse - start here. Worst case scenario, you can return it. After all, Amazon has been standing behind their stuff for a while now so I'm not afraid to start with theirs and see how well they did. This is another one that didn't disappoint and it cost 50% less than its nearest competitor (at the time I bought it at least).
