The history of the American West is being transformed by exciting new ideas, new questions, new scholarship. For many years this field was dominated by popular images of the lone cowboy and the savage Indian, and by Frederick Jackson Turner's concept of the frontier as a steadily advancing source of democracy and social renewal. But now historians and even the merchants of popular culture are reshaping our views of the frontier and the West by taking up a rich array of new subjects, including the stories of diverse peoples as well as the history of the land itself. A new generation of scholars is reformulating the broader questions also: What was the significance of the frontier in American history? What are the bases of western identity? What themes connect the twentieth-century West to its more distant past? The transformation of western history continues to be an open-ended, turbulent process. The original essays in this volume are reports from the frontier of change. In their diverging assumptions and conclusions, they reflect the vitality of this field. They succeed when they make the case for new questions and suggest possible answers. They advocate no single agenda. But taken together they well represent the passion and high craft with which scholars are creating a new western history.Binding Type: Paperback

Flavor Name: REAL Maplewood, Size: Puppy Small
This is by far the best chew bone that I’ve bought my puppy. And I’ve bought many! Just got it yesterday, she loves it! All ready ordered another one for car rides. I have a frenchie puppy. This will be the only one I get while she’s a puppy.

These are quite large for a puppy
Flavor Name: REAL Bacon/REAL Maplewood, Size: Puppy Tiny (2-Pack)
These are advertised as puppy but I wish there were still different sizes for the different sizes of puppies. It seems extra small dogs are left out of alot of things. My older larger dog seems to like these but shes only touched it once because these are also quite hard. And my tiny puppy wants to chew these but theyre so big she cant even get ahold of it. I wish there were more options for very small dogs/puppies. Because they seemed to really like these and wanted them but just cant chew them...

Finally a toy that isn’t destroyed in 7 minutes
This really is virtually indestructible! My dog is an aggressive tour and she has given this thing the business more often than not, and it does not even have a hole in it! My dog enjoys it immensely! It’s easy to take places. I love that it’s bright yellow and easy to see so I don’t trip over it! Definitely suitable for aggressive chewers!

Great choice for heavy chewers
Perfect for dogs that chew hard! Ours shred comparable toys at every turn, but this has held up beautifully. We’ve had it for a few months and it’s got minor wear and tear, but it is easy for them to play with, hardy, and worth every penny.
