Soul Jazz Records' new Nigeria Soul Fever is their first release to explore the vast wealth of Nigerian music recorded in the 1970s. The new album comes with introductory sleeve-notes by Bill Brewster (author of Last Night A DJ Saved My Life). Packed-full with Afro-Funk, Disco and Boogie all from Nigeria, this triple album/double CD set brings together a stunning collection of diverse West African sounds. Whilst a small handful of the artists featured (Joni Haastrup, Tee Mac, Christy Essien) have seen the light of day outside Africa, this is essentially a collection of killer tracks by an array of artists completely unknown outside of Nigeria. Artists such as Don Bruce & The Angels, Akin Richards & The Executives, Angela Starr, Jimmy Sherry & The Music Agents. It's no surprise that these records are extremely rare and expensive to buy individually so this album will save you going broke trying to find them. These recordings were made at a time when Nigeria's trade restrictions banned imported records. Whilst new musical trends (such as American soul, funk, disco etc) entered and influenced the country, the local music scene remained just that - local. Consequently, these recordings remain practically unknown to anyone outside of the country. Nigeria Soul Fever is released as triple-album vinyl + download, double-CD digi-pack and digital download. This album follows on from Soul Jazz Records' 1960s collection Nigeria Freedom Sounds, released last month, and will be followed by the reissue of the incredibly rare and groovy Nigerian 1980 disco boogie funk album Tee Mac's Night Illusion.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy to use and produces vibrant prints
This Hiipoo sublimation ink has been a fantastic upgrade for my EcoTank printer. The autofill bottles fit perfectly into the ink tanks - no syringes, no mess, and no wasted ink. Refilling is quick and hassle-free, which makes the whole process so much easier.
The print quality is excellent. Colors come out bright, vivid, and crisp with great saturation and no fading. It transfers beautifully onto mugs, T-shirts, and tumblers, drying fast without smudges. I really appreciate that it works ICC-free, yet still delivers professional results.
The ink is certified and feels reliable, and I’ve had zero clogging issues. Overall, this is a high-quality, easy-to-use sublimation ink that’s perfect for both hobby projects and small business use. Definitely recommend for anyone doing heat transfer printing.

Only Sublimation Ink for Me!!
I recently bought my second set of Hippo Sublimation Ink and continue to be thrilled with the results. This ink has proven to be a fantastic choice for my sublimation projects, delivering on all fronts.
Hippo Sublimation Ink works exactly as promised. It sublimates effortlessly onto poly blend items, producing bright, vivid transfers every time. The colors are striking and true to the design, which is crucial for quality sublimation work. The results are consistently impressive, making this ink a reliable option for any project.
One of the standout features is the great price. Hippo Sublimation Ink offers excellent value for money compared to other brands. Despite its affordability, it performs just as well—if not better—than more expensive options on the market. Using Hippo Ink in my Epson printer has been a breeze. The ink flows smoothly and doesn’t clog the printer, even after not being used for two weeks!!! I’ve had issues with other brands clogging my printer, leading to frustration and wasted time, not to mention all the maintenance puts wear and tear on the printer. With Hippo, there’s been no such problem, making it a hassle-free choice for sublimation printing.
Hippo Sublimation Ink has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, price, and ease of use. It’s the only ink I will use in my printer from now on. If you’re looking for a high-quality sublimation ink that’s both affordable and reliable, Hippo is an excellent choice. It delivers bright, beautiful transfers and maintains smooth operation without any of the typical issues associated with other brands. Highly recommended!

Great for Sublimation!
I’m a bit new to sublimation and was worried about having dull colors, but this ink is doing wonders! The quality is great, I can adjust the amount on the printer and get the exact, rich, vibrant colors I want. (I found some recommended settings for brightness, contrast, etc… and then tweak the cyan, magenta, and yellow to the desired amount.)
I definitely recommend getting this ink! It’s so easy to refill the printer (I have an Eco tank 15000). The cost is not bad at all. I’ve only washed some of the items one time and so far the ink has remained unchanged. Seems like a winner to me!
