The unique spiral shaped ear wires are formed by hand in our studio with 20 gauge wire and lightly hammered for strength.
The tiny coins are hammered for a shimmering texture that captures the light beautifully!
They are a very short earring and may vary in length beneath the ear lobe depending on where your lobe is pierced.
Size: The ear wires measure about 1/2" long from the crest of the ear wire and the coins are about 1/4" in diameter.
Also available in sterling silver, as shown in the model photo, and 14k rose gold fill.
WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
14kt gold filled is a layer of solid 14kt gold (gold alloy) bonded to a jeweler's brass core.
Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating - Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better than gold plated.
