Jdid (meaning new in Arabic) sees Acid Arab taking a giant step forward on their path, and deepening the dialogue between the northern, southern and eastern shores of the Mediterranean (the northern shore extending, in this particular case, to the banks of the rivers Seine, Thames, Spree and Hudson!). It's an intoxicating blend of sharp Western electronic music and Eastern sounds & vocals. Throughout the album, the Parisian crew's club-oriented beats are taken for a ride, from suburban warehouses to smoky basements of Oran & Istanbul, from wide expanses of desert dunes to landscapes of concrete and metal, and are regenerated by the fresh breezes and the inspiring musicians encountered along the way. Jdid features contributions by Algerian vocalists Radia Menel, Sofiane Saidi, Amel Wahby and Cheikha Hadjla, by Turkish artist Cem Yildiz and Syrian keyboardist Rizan Said, as well as tracks written in collaboration with Tunisian/Belgian producer Ammar 808 and with Les Filles d'Illighadad from Niger.

It Really Works
In desperation, I bought this toothpaste. In April of 2024, I noticed some green on my front teeth - not the spinach type that can be removed. A call to my dentist’s office to schedule a cleaning became 5 visits that were inconvenient for my schedule and about $700 in costs for a “deep cleaning” that only dulled the appearance, but did not actually whiten or brighten my smile. My dental health, otherwise, is extremely good!
When I noticed the green creeping back, I just couldn’t stand the idea of starting with the time element or cost of the dentist again to get such lackluster results.
I don’t recall if I saw a commercial for this product, or if the listening ears of big brother caused Amazon to suggest this product, but I bought it. And when it arrived, I was taken aback because it seemed like a very small tube for the cost. But my opinion changed after the first use. And then after a week. First, this paste sticks better to my toothbrush as I’m applying it than my regular Crest toothpaste does. But it has brightened my smile, and definitely making the green disappear. I’ve been using it for nearly a month, and when I saw it on Amazon Prime Day for 50% off, I ordered a second tube! I do not notice my teeth to be any more sensitive, and the taste is clean and minty. I’m aiming to finish the first tube and then return to my regular toothpaste, using this one for touch ups as needed. Pardon the up close photo. I should have taken a “before” shot!

The worst banking experience
Stay away from this card if you want to keep your sanity, they had a welcome offer of $750 that they refused to honor, if you call customer service you will be on hold for 2 hours just for them to transfer the call to someone that doesn't know what they're doing. they still ask you to send them documents by mail or fax to prove you're not lying to them.
I closed their card less than a month after opening it, the worst banking experience of my life.
