Text in French

Henri Joseph Séverin Babinski, (2 July 1855 - 20 August 1931), known under the pseudonym Ali-Bab, was a mining engineer, gastronome and writer. Henri Babinski was the son of a Polish engineer who emigrated to Paris in 1848 and the elder brother of the neurologist Joseph Babinski. After graduating as a mining civil engineer, he was director of a zinc mine in La Grand-Combe (Gard) and worked for more than 15 years in French Guiana and other countries in the prospecting and exploitation of gold mines. From the beginning of the twentieth century until his death, he lived in Paris. During his stays abroad, his encounter with the cuisines of each country awakened his interest in the culinary art. In 1907, he published his Practical Gastronomy under the pseudonym of Ali-Bab. This book contained not only detailed recipes but also texts on the history of the culinary art, on the food and drinks used. The book has been extensively corrected and expanded by its author with each new edition. It was one of the reference works of French cuisine at the beginning of the twentieth century. Our edition is the second, the only one with the color portrait of the author on the frontispiece! It is in its original binding in "plum" sheepskin. This book was part of the Culinary Library of Victor Michon, who was one of the greatest cooks of the early twentieth century. Even today, the Victor Michon Prize is one of the titles that many "starred" chefs are honored with. He was the cook of the Austrian-Hungarian Embassy, located at the Hotel Matignon in Paris at the time of the First World War.

Great paper
Model: Kraft er Paper 002
Great product. I'm using this for shelf paper. The paper is clean, a good weight, easy to work with, and a good price. The paper also comes with white cord which I was not expecting. I highly recommend this item.

Nice quality butcher paper
Model: Kraft er Paper 002
This is great paper. It even comes with a spool of string for tying up whatever you’re wrapping if that’s how you’re using it. I’m using it to cover my sublimation projects in a heat press and it works perfect.

Great thickness and color
Model: Kraft er Paper 002
This paper was great for wrapping Christmas gifts this year. It was a good color white and was easy to write names directly on, no need for tags! The weight of the paper was great and tape also held up easily. It is perfect for medium to small packages. Purchased item.

My Go-To Sublimation Paper — Flawless Results Every Time
Size: 8.5"x11", Size: 8.5"x11"
This is hands down the best sublimation paper I’ve used and the only one I continue to buy. I get a perfect transfer every single time—no fracturing, no fading, and no uneven results. The paper dries fast, which makes my workflow so much smoother, especially when I’m producing items in batches. I use this regularly to make air fresheners and tote bags for my small business, and the color payoff is always vibrant and crisp. The transfer rate is excellent, and it works beautifully on light-colored, high-quality polyester and other sublimation-ready surfaces. If you’re a small business owner or crafter who values consistency, quality, and ease of use, this paper is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it and will continue to repurchase.
