Sweet Home: Stories of Country and family'I'm in Nhulunbuy, a long way away from home. I'm here with other people from different places and we're here to learn.' In Sweet Home 28 students from Dawurr Boarding House in Nhulunbuy have written heart felt stories about what home means to them. These stories travel from the turquoise waters of Blue Mud Bay, to the quiet of Bulman, to the crocodile filled creeks of Batchelor, into the bush to hunt bullocky and kangaroos, and to the sea to fish for

'I'm in Nhulunbuy, a long way away from home. I'm here with other people from different places and we're here to learn.' 

In Sweet Home 28 students from Ḏawurr Boarding House in Nhulunbuy have written heart-felt stories about what home means to them. 

These stories travel from the turquoise waters of Blue Mud Bay, to the quiet of Bulman, to the crocodile filled creeks of Batchelor, into the bush to hunt bullocky and kangaroos, and to the sea to fish for barramundi and turtles. The students celebrate their successes in footy and athletics. They wonder what it means to be an artist. 

Each story shows the places and people and things that are important to the Ḏawurr students. Although they come from 13 unique Communities across the Northern Territory, they share a love for spending time with their families and out on Country—home sweet home.
