It has a serious bouquet compared to plenty of others that I encountered, more introverted and saturnine, but powerful with layers of blackberry and bilberry fruit mixed with undergrowth and woodland scents. The palate is medium bodied with strict tannin. This feels solid and linear, with chalky tannin and a crisp line of acidity.
