Straight-up high-energy pre with beta-alanine, betaine, and two-stage caffeine

Alpha Lion SuperHuman Pre is a straight-up, high-energy pre-workout that shows every ingredient. It handles four big things: ramps up your training drive, keeps your head in the game when you're tired, boosts blood flow, and helps you push through tough sessions. No hidden blends, no junk fillers, and they tell you exactly how much stim is in there. It's built with solid ingredients that actually help, plus some cool branded ones to make your workout feel better.

For pumps and flow, you get 4,000mg L-Citrulline. This stuff turns into arginine in your body better than taking arginine straight, which helps make nitric oxide – that's the gas that opens up blood vessels for better flow and bigger pumps. Studies usually go for 6-8g, so 4g is a bit under that but still way better than the weak 2-3g doses you see a lot. They add 50mg S7®, a plant-based blend tested at exactly 50mg. Research shows it boosts nitric oxide levels by fighting off stuff that breaks it down. Basically, citrulline makes the NO, and S7® keeps it around longer.

To help with lasting longer and pushing harder, there's 3,200mg beta-alanine – that's the full dose from studies. It builds up carnosine in your muscles, which soaks up acid during intense sets so you don't burn out as fast. It takes 2-4 weeks of daily use to really kick in, but then you'll notice you can grind out more reps. Betaine anhydrous at 2,500mg is another strong inclus

Key Highlights

  • 4,000mg L-Citrulline helps crank up nitric oxide through the arginine path, getting more blood and fullness to your muscles during lifts. 4g is under the usual 6-8g from studies, but it's still a good hit and beats out those skimpy 2-3g versions out there.
  • 50mg S7® is dosed just like in the studies. This plant mix boosts your body's nitric oxide by cutting down on stuff that wrecks it, making it a smart team-up with citrulline instead of just more of the same.
  • 3,200mg beta-alanine is the real deal clinical dose to build muscle carnosine over time. That's key when sets get burny and your output usually drops – better buffering lets you keep grinding.
  • 2,500mg betaine anhydrous hits the dose from most power studies. It boosts strength, power, and endurance, plus acts as an osmolyte – that means it helps cells stay hydrated when you're sweating hard.
  • 1,500mg L-Tyrosine is a solid focus booster in a pre. It feeds into dopamine and other brain chemicals, which helps a ton when you're training tired, stressed, or short on sleep.
  • 1,000mg taurine isn't just for show. It helps with cell water balance, calcium in muscles, and brain signals, adding extra support that works with both the energy and pump sides.
  • 325mg SXT™ Energy System gives a strong stim feel without dumping all caffeine at once. Mixing anhydrous with zümXR® extended- and delayed-release means quicker start and smoother ride than your average pre.
  • 400mg SantEnergy™ Nu adds non-stim energy and metabolism help. The research is building, but 400mg is at the high end of what's suggested, fitting the goal of energy beyond just caffeine.

Who Is This For?

  • Lifters in muscle-building phases wanting big pumps and energy to power through long workouts. 4g citrulline with S7® boosts flow, and 325mg caffeine plus 1.5g tyrosine keeps focus up as volume adds up.
  • Strength and size chasers needing more than an energy drink. 2.5g betaine anhydrous and 3.2g beta-alanine help with power and fighting fatigue, great for heavy lifts then accessories.
  • Folks used to pre's who want high stim but not the harsh drop. SXT™ with zümXR® gives lasting energy, better than plain caffeine bombs.
  • Bodybuilders after better muscle feel in pump work. Tyrosine, taurine, caffeine, citrulline, and S7® team up for mental sharpness and that full muscle sensation for quality reps.
  • Working folks training after rough days needing a switch to beast mode. 1,500mg tyrosine helps with that, especially when you're already mentally drained.
  • Athletes in high-volume training needing help past the first bit. Full 3.2g beta-alanine and 2.5g betaine make this legit for repeat efforts, more than pump-only options.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 10-14 oz cold water and down it 20-30 minutes pre-train. That lets caffeine absorb and gets citrulline, taurine, and tyrosine ready for your session. Stim-sensitive? Start with half for a few goes before full. Shaker beats stirring since aminos and flavors mix better shaken. Empty stomach speeds it up, but if stims hit you hard, eat light an hour or so before to mellow it. Don't mix with other caffeine stuff or strong burners unless you're tracking intake. Use on training days consistently, or daily for beta-alanine's full effect. No need for hard cycling, but a caffeine break after weeks can freshen things up. Keep the tub sealed cool and dry to maintain scoopability and taste.

What to Expect

0-10 minutes: after sipping, it settles, and you might feel the first light stim vibes. 10-20 minutes: caffeine starts hitting, and beta-alanine tingles often show up as things ramp. 20-40 minutes: prime time to train – energy, focus, and readiness peak, with citrulline and S7® making pumps noticeable once you're moving. 40-90 minutes: it hangs in there without dropping off, thanks to zümXR® extended and delayed caffeine. First week: main wins from caffeine, tyrosine, taurine, and pumps. 2-4 weeks: beta-alanine shines as carnosine builds, making high-volume or repeat efforts easier to handle.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Alpha Lion SuperHuman Pre?

Each 1-scoop serving delivers 325mg caffeine through the SXT™ Energy System. That system combines caffeine anhydrous with zümXR® extended-release and delayed-release caffeine, so the experience is designed to feel more sustained than a formula using only caffeine anhydrous.

Is 4g of L-Citrulline enough to feel a pump?

Yes, most users will still notice better blood flow and training pumps at 4,000mg, especially because Alpha Lion pairs it with 50mg S7®. That said, the classic research range for isolated citrulline is usually 6-8g, so this is a solid but not maximal citrulline dose on its own.

Why does this formula include both L-Citrulline and S7®?

They support nitric oxide from different angles. Citrulline helps generate nitric oxide by raising arginine availability, while S7® is designed to help preserve nitric oxide bioavailability by reducing oxidative degradation, creating a more layered pump strategy.

Will Alpha Lion SuperHuman Pre make me tingle?

Probably, yes. The formula contains 3,200mg beta-alanine, which is the standard clinical dose and is well known for causing a harmless tingling sensation called paresthesia in many users.

Is this pre-workout good for strength training or just pump workouts?

It is built for both. The pump side comes from citrulline and S7®, while beta-alanine at 3.2g and betaine at 2.5g give it real support for repeated high-intensity efforts, strength-hypertrophy work, and harder back-half session performance.

Can beginners use Alpha Lion SuperHuman Pre?

Only with caution. The formula is fully transparent, which is beginner-friendly from an information standpoint, but 325mg caffeine with extended-release support makes it better suited to users who already understand how they respond to stimulants. A half scoop is the right place to start if tolerance is uncertain.

Should I take this every day or only before workouts?

Use it before workouts for the acute energy and focus effects, but there is also a case for consistent use because beta-alanine works through muscle carnosine saturation over time. If you do not want daily caffeine exposure, you can still use this on training days and cover off-day beta-alanine with a standalone product.

What should I stack with SuperHuman Pre for a more complete setup?

The best stack is usually daily creatine monohydrate plus a quality protein powder. Creatine complements beta-alanine and betaine by supporting phosphocreatine recycling for explosive efforts, while protein supports recovery and adaptation after the session.

Can I take this with coffee or an energy drink?

It is possible, but not recommended for most users. SuperHuman Pre already delivers 325mg caffeine, and adding coffee or energy drinks can push total stimulant intake high enough to increase jitteriness, elevated heart rate, and sleep disruption.

How long before training should I take it?

Most users do best taking it 20-30 minutes before training. That allows the caffeine system and tyrosine to start working as the session begins, while giving pump ingredients time to be circulating once your heart rate and blood flow rise.

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.
