From our Heritage Range, these diamond-patterned argyle fine knit dress socks are made with a vintage Bentley Komet jacquard sock knitting machine from Leicester, England. Beautifully patterned and exceptionally hard wearing, these versatile socks are a must for your collection.
These loose top socks have no elastic at all. They will shape to your feet after the first wash and the well shaped heel will keep them in place. They're perfect for people with circulation issues.

Do Loose Top Socks fall down?
No. We have found over the years that when the correct sock size and style is matched to your shoe type we can keep the sock in place. A little give but not too much stretch, combined with a well-rounded, deep heel made as close to a 90-degree angle as possible, keeps our socks anchored to your feet, so that even with a loose top they won’t fall down. What are your 'Walter' Loose Top Socks made from?
Our 'Walter' Loose Top Socks are made from 60% Australian-grown merino wool and 40% nylon for added strength and durability.
Are the merino socks itchy?
Not at all! Merino wool is incredibly soft, making them socks perfect for all-day comfort.
How do I wash merino socks?
Sizing will be correct after the first wash. We recommend a quick, cold machine wash. They should be washed separately, or in a hosiery and lingerie wash bag so they do not catch on other garments.
