Альбера Камю (1913 —1960), французького романіста, філософа, публіциста, лауреата Нобелівської премії 1957 р., за життя називали 'володарем дум', і нині він вважається одним з найвизначніших письменників і мислителів ХХ століття, твори якого перебувають на стику художньої прози і філософського трактату. Камю прагнув залишатися повністю незалежним, перебуваючи в гущавині суспільно-ідеологічної битви, не приставати до жодного із суперницьких таборів, що й знайшло відображення в його творах. 'Перша людина' — незавершений автобіографічний роман Камю, який побачив світ лише через третину століття після смерті автора і мав приголомшливий успіх. Коли 4 січня 1960 року письменник загинув в автокатастрофі, чорновий рукопис 'Першої людини' виявили у його дорожній валізі. Роман охоплює життя Жака Кормері від народження до його навчання у ліцеї в Алжирі — це зворушлива розповідь про дитинство, отроцтво, болісну любов сина до матері, про пошук зниклого батька, але також це роман про історію колоністів у величезному і не завжди гостинному Алжирі, про складні стосунки цієї країни з колоністами, про глибокі наслідки війни та політичної революції…

Fun for the first day, but just get the round balls.

These balls do work, but they bouncy pretty much like a regular chuck it ball. They do NOT fit in the chuck it handheld ball launcher, which makes them a pain to throw. The green color also makes them somewhat challenging to find when the grass is long. That said, they do work as intended, and the dogs like them the same as all the other chuck it balls we own. As the person who had to throw them, my advice would be to just get the round balls that fit in the ball launcher. Durability: 9/10 they hood together better than the traditional balls without the hole (that crack down the seam over time). These have yet to crack despite the same wear and tear. Pros: durable, dogs like them, they do sink in water Cons: green color, hard to fit in handheld ball launcher

I wouldn’t recommend this for strong chewers.

Is it fun? Sure. Was it easy to charge and set up? Yep. That being said, this toy kind of fell flat for me. It really didn’t do any big movements once charged that I expected it to, so that was a bummer. I initially got it for my dog, but my cats were more interested in this than my dog was. The battery does seem to last a long time and the motor is pretty quiet. I WOULD NOT recommend this toy for strong chewers as the material for this is a foam rubber and I don’t think it’s durable enough for strong chewers. While the material makes this ball extremely lightweight for more movement, a strong chewer would have this disintegrated in five minutes flat. My Dog is a super strong chewer. I don’t think I would feel comfortable leaving him unattended with this because I know he would destroy it.
