The Dark Water 300 was first conceptualized in a series of sketches in the early part of 2018. Our original designs had included a total of 9 different color combinations which we painstakingly narrowed down to 5. During our prototyping phase, we created physical copies of each of the 5 color options, but eventually decided that we would market a single black on black watch to be named the ‘Dark Water’. Over the course of the next few months, we began to showcase the first productions sample of the Dark Water 300. Our customers loved the design, but a strong contingent of fans began asking for a second blue color option. Due to the requests, we officially released the Dark Water 300 in August 2019, in both the original black on black, as well as the requested blue colorway.

These very limited model Dark Waters are almost identical to the official production models, however you will notice the following differences on the Prototype Edition dials:

- Thinner Hour and Minute Hands
- Japanese Luminova as opposed to Swiss SuperLuminova
- Different Date Window Design

Less than 5 units of each prototype color were ever assembled, making these watches extremely rare

*NOTE TO BUYERS: These are not reproductions, these are the actual original prototype watches that are now available for sale. There may be signs of wear such a small scratches on the case and or bezel. Please keep this in mind when making your purchase. All watches are in perfect working condition and come with a 1 year warranty.

To ensure both a luxurious and durable finish, the casing of the Dark Water 300 is cast from 316L stainless steel. The 43mm case has a brushed satin finish which compliments the more shiny areas of the watch handsomely. With a total height of 13mm, it feels and looks great on the wrist. The bezel of the Dark Water is anything but typical. The 12-sided, unidirectional bezel comes with a ceramic insert which provides incredible resistance against scratches and scuffs. The rim of the bezel has been finished with a high polish shine, which looks great against the brushed case.

Protecting the face of the watch, you'll find a thick piece of ultra scratch-resistant Sapphire glass. The crown, which has been signed with the Kingsbury 'K', screws down for ultimate protection against leaks. The combination of the sapphire glass, screw-down crown and stainless steel case lets the Dark Water 300 boast an impressive water resistance of 30ATM / 300M / 1000FT.

The distinctive dial of the Dark Water 300 is what really sets it apart. The first thing you'll notice is the beautiful wave pattern that's been etched out in the center of dial. The hour markers, like on any good dive watch, are bold and sport luminous material that glows in low light conditions (when charged). The 12 o'clock position gets a double baton marking to help you easily identify the time, when working or playing in the dark.

On the outer rim of the dial you'll find printed numerical markings that make reading the time even easier. For the minute and hour hands, we've chosen a set that are bold, thick and taper into a point, while the second hand resembles an archer's arrow. At the 3 o'clock position is a the calendar window, with a metallic border, that shows both the day as well as the date. With all the design features, you'll feel a strong sensation of quality and precision each time you look down to check the time.

No dive style watch would be complete without some sort of luminous features and the Dark Water 300 is no exception. The Dark Water Prototype Editions used Japanese Luminova elements which appear white under normal and glows during low light conditions (when charged).

The striking luminescent hands make it easy to tell time even in the dark. To further aide in reading the time in the dark, we've added Japanese Luminova to the hour markings. This feature is not only functional, but gives the watch a unique glowing design.

Our rubber strap is custom designed for the Dark Water 300 and is made for both durability and comfort. It has been constructed from high quality silicone and features our 'Kingsbury' brand tattooed on the stainless steel buckle. The width of the strap is 22mm and tapers down to 20mm,  which adds a sleek look no matter what the environment.

The caseback on the Dark Water is constructed from 316L stainless steel and has a screw-down design allowing for the tightest fit and best protection against water. Each caseback has been engraved with the make and model indicator of the timepiece. Featured prominently in the center of the caseback is the a sea creature's tentacle holding a trident, the mark of the Dark Water 300.

The NH36A is a Japanese movement manufactured by the famous watch maker Seiko. It’s a great movement that provide accuracy, dependability, and longevity that is used by several watch companies worldwide. This is a 3-hand automatic movement that has both a day and date indicator at the 3 o'clock position.

The NH36A employs a winding rotor that winds the mainspring which stores energy and transfers it through a series of gears and springs, regulating the release of energy to power the watch. There is a built in hacking function that helps you set the time in the most accurate way possible. The movement runs at 21,600 BPH or 6 beats per second and has about 40 hour power reserve. In addition, it has 24 Jewels to help keep the movement running efficiently.

High on Tropes and Satisfaction
Format: Kindle
This is a great Romantasy book full of action, adventure, and everything you look for in this genre. I won’t lie: it does kinda feel like the author found every common trope from every successful book of this kind and threw them all into this novel. But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Especially in romance, there’s a large audience who has specific expectations, and they want them every time. Nothing wrong with that and many times I’m one of them. I have no idea what defines a spoiler honestly, so spoiler alert!!!!!!! Tropes include: Only one bed at the inn/bar Dissatisfaction with life before hunk appears Lost royalty The chosen one Montage of dress up time followed by shocked hunk Forbidden romance between two from rival peoples Power that cannot be controlled, simply guided/asked Gathering intel at the inn/bar FMC who knows how to fight/use weapons well There’s probably more but no need to list them all. Good story and I would recommend!

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."

Great Read!!! Great story!!!
Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.

Sadly, DNF
Format: Kindle
I read this thru KU. I LOVED the synopsis. And then I began reading... and it was a DNF at 68% after picking it up and putting it down several times because I really loved the main female character. *****SPOILERS***** Pros: The world is unique, intriguing and fun. The primary female character is bad-a** but not a b*tech or a mary sue. The primary female has depth. I really want to know what happens to her even tho it's been weeks and I don't remember her name. The villains to the point I read are pretty good -- an ever present threat of mysterious and possibly many culprits. Cons: Way, way too many points of view. I stopped counting at 7. It's the prime reason why I don't care about most of the characters or remember their names even when I like them. There's just too many points of view so almost none of the characters have enough book space for the author to properly develop them. This literally killed the book for me. Actually it killed my desire to read. For weeks. The main male is more villain than hero. He agreed to marry the main female then locks her up & eschews her for her sister, all while bad mouthing her as unfit to rule when he never spent any time with her getting to know her. He is actually unfit to rule as he is blind to the woes of his own kingdom and starts off a peace mission to secure a ceasefire through marriage by murdering an inn full of people in her country for no real reason. Plus, he constantly makes promises he does not keep. And it's gross of him to pine for the sister behind the main female's back. ***** As much as I really wanted to see what happened to the main female character, it wasn't enough for me to keep trying to slog thru this book. There was a lot of potential here that just fell short. Hence, 3 stars.
