Dayco tensioners are constructed with a robust cast aluminum case and arm, adding durability to the design. This sturdy metal helps prevent cracking and fatigue, enhancing overall strength and minimizing the likelihood of distortion. Other notable features include the inclusion of a steel pivot tube in specific designs for increased stability, thermoplastic rubber spring slot plugs, and rubber O-ring seals to keep contaminants at bay.
