This windchime has a modern, satisfying appearance thanks to the seamless combination of matte black and silver colored aluminum. The round top of the chime and the dangling tag are made out of matte black aluminum, contrasting well with the silver aluminum. The tag features an engraving of a bird. The 5 hanging tubes are made of silver colored aluminum and are each 3/4 inches in diameter. The tubes are adorned with black lettering. The cords attaching the various parts of the windchime are industrial, meaning they are made to last! There is also a convenient black metal hanging hook on the top of the chime to make display simple! The final length of the chime is 21 inches.
Because everyone is unique and has their own preferences, the striker of this wind chime is adjustable. The striker, which is the black circle in the center of the chime, has a special slider below it for movement. Sony STR-AN1000 Malfunctioning
Style: STR-AN1000 AV Receiver only
I had the previous model which started Malfunctioning after about 10 years so I decided to replace it with this. I bought the 'renewed' new model. This started failing almost immediately. The logic constantly malfunctions; the input selection stopped working, the remote doesn't respond, it goes into mute. I'm unplugging it every few days to get the unit to thing to start functioning again. Initially I thought it was operator error but the errors started increasing with frequency. The malfunctions seemed similar to my old 8 year old model. I got less than 6 months of use out of this and now I have to replace it. Specs might be good on paper, the sound is decent for its class but I think that even my 10-year old 1050 should have lasted longer.

FM Antenna

The Sony receiver is a good piece of equipment but it lacks an FM antenna to receive channel's in the local area.
I understand signal propagation, bandwidth, side lobs and RF dead spots and bit more.
I can get a $12 box radio set it up in the same spot and the reception is great. nuff said
