The Roland VP-9000 VariPhrase Processor is a revolutionary sampler/vocal processor. It is a sampler capable of elastic realtime manipulation of pitch, time, and formants via MIDI while maintaining superb sound quality. With the VP-9000 you can instantly match drum loops to the same key and tempo. Or use it to bend notes, change pitches or harmonize and more! It all works in real-time with little artifacts and in a non-destructive environment. Thankfully, the VP-9000 features three large knobs for realtime control over pitch, time, formant, and groove right on the front of the module for realtime tweaking!

The VP-9000 is a professional equipped with six analog outputs plus digital I/O in coaxial and optical formats. There are also superb effects built-in as well-reverb, chorus, and multi-effects.

The VP-9000 also features a large icon-based graphic LCD screen for wave editing and simplified operation. Internal resampling capability is great for applying effects to samples over and over, etc. The VP-9000 is also compatible with VP-9000/Roland S-700/Akai S1000/AIFF/.WAV format files for loading sample libraries.

The VP-9000 has been used by artists such as Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), DJ Shadow, Fat Boy Slim & more!

  • This unit has been used.

  • This unit has been thoroughly tested and everything is working as it should. It has no faults to note.

  • This unit uses a ZIP disk. No zip disk are included in this sale.

  • This unit has 8mB of RAM installed.

  • The cosmetic condition of this unit is good. It shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. There is some rack rash. Nothing major at all. Please see all photos.

  • Please be aware, this unit is 100V. This means you MUST connect it to the correct step-down transformer before powering it on. If you are unsure about this feel free to send us a message as we would be glad to help you source the correct item. Heavy marble base and solid rod holder.

After researching the many different marble base towel holders, which is what I wanted to match my marble decor, I finally settled on this which arrived today, packed very nicely in a Styrofoam tight box to protect the marble and came with it as you can see a gift of some very soft Microfiber dish cloths, which work very well at removing smudge marks on kitchen appliances. It took me 30 seconds to join the base to the rod. It came with a little tool to tighten the base however it really wasn’t necessary. I then covered the hole under the base with a piece of One-sided circular sticky, felt, which covered the hole very nicely. I have tried it, and it does do as it says, and the marble base is heavy enough where it holds the roll of paper towels so that with a couple of tugs, I can get one of the perforated sections out. Does take more than one tug as some people showed but two tugs or three light ones really doesn’t matter it gets the job done and in a far lower price than any of the others, in fact, some of the recommended others were 2 1/2 times more expensive and the reviews were not good at all. It pays to take the time to go through people’s reviews like mine and that’s why I believe in completing the reviews whenever I can time permitting. I’m giving this a five star and I think that you will too. I was lucky based on some of the other marble bases that were shown for this product that I got a significant amount of gray marbling matter because some of them had very little it’s just the way the marble runs and you take your chance, but I was lucky.
