The AFE 50-74001 Pro 10R Momentum HD Intake System is designed for your 01-04 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7 using the most up-to-date engineering tools and techniques to provide you with the perfect blend of power and protection. This intake system is superior in every way. From the one-piece sealed housing with a built-in sight window to the massive 1,000 cfm air filter and premium hardware, we spared no expense to give you the best intake on the market.
Unique One-Piece Housing:
The smooth one-piece sealed housing with auxiliary air scoop is used to eliminate the use of multiple-piece housings and ensure the coolest air intake charge available. A urethane plug is also included for those cold weather applications where you want to block the auxiliary air scoop. A large, clear sight window is used for a hassle-free filter inspection.
Roto-mold Tube:
This System uses a C.A.D designed, dyno-tuned, roto-mold intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.
Huge 10-Layer Pro 10R Performance Air Filter:
The Momentum HD is designed around a massive 1,000 cfm 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 10-layers of progressive cotton gauze oiled media providing 99.59% cumulative efficiency (independently tested). The unique air filter to housing interface (PATENT PENDING) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process. The air filter is wrapped in reinforced metal providing maximum strength to prevent filter collapse.
Premium Hardware:
Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a 2-ply reinforced silicone hump coupler at the turbo is used for strength and durability while also providing the most secure installation available. Momentum HD intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation.
Proven Results:
After a rigorous design and testing phase, the results are in. The Momentum HD intake system outflows the factory intake by 32% and produces 24 additional horsepower and 44 lbs. x ft. torque.

Big Investment for a Lifetime of Quality

Several reviews mentioned a smell lingering with the sheepskin even after being unpacked a few days. I did notice the smell when I unpacked it, but I would expect a slight odor from such an item. It was not overpowering and is completely gone after one month of having it laid out on a chest in our bedroom. It is very functional, can be sat on, knelt on, etc, but is easily brushed off and looks great! The quality is very good…someone in my family is on it every night, and we have experienced no shedding whatsoever.
Although the price is a big investment initially, I believe the quality is worthy. We plan to enjoy this beautiful sheepskin for a lifetime!

Really soft & my dog loves it. I used it as a throw over my couch for decor. The smell when I took it out of the package was probably one of the worst smells I’ve ever smelled. Like old broccoli or something. I left it outside to air out all day and that was gone.

Not premium quality! I've seen actual authentic ones before.

Despite all the positive reviews, I believe this product is subpar. There are genuine sheep skin Hydes but this product is NOT it. There is no leather embossing showing authenticity, and many signs of strong chemical treatment. Smell is lingering and I've aired them for over two days. Not very comfortable since the fur is very thick and coarse, you would expect it to be softer for the price as well. Not premium quality. I ordered this for my children to sleep on at long evening Church services but now I will look to more niche sellers for a higher quality product.
